Theoretically if he passes waivers can the pats re-sign him?

Not that this is likely just curious, rumors were he was released because he was late to meetings and what not
I doubt that rumor. BB would have benched/healthy scrattched him first, there is extensive precedence for this.

There must be more to this story, we may BUT probably never will find out the true reason.

What's he saying?

" he'll be fine" ?

Yep. Even though in the movie Flash Gordon died from lethal injection and brought back to life by a smoking hot Italian chick who he later hooked up with on a spaceship, all things considered he more than fine.

7 years 58 games. 20 TD 4113y 17.1y/R

Hasnt been clean a year since ~2005
Xanax, marijuana, codeine in middle school
Junior year HS Xanax, hydrocodone, oxycodone at nearly every opportunity
Before games, chug Mad Dog 20-20, to gauge whether he could play drunk.

The amount of time the Pats gave him
then the sudden, seemingly unnecessary
shuffle away at point of most need?
Still not clean
The pattern for folks who start early: never will be.
It is just the way it is. A horrible thing for people
Destroys their life
End up under a bridge, crapping on the sidewalk
Spending the day hunting for more, forever
Its just the way it is

The sad thing is that he'll probably end up on the Redskins.

IF I were the GM's in Minnesota - Greenbay or even the Niners I would be tempted.

My work buddys sister died under a bridge with a needle in her arm

The opioid epidemic has brought this home to all of us
It is not a class thing. Nobody is immune
Do not
Advise anyone, everyone you know
Do not
4 days, a person is hooked

End of life, extreme cases only

I really don't care where he lands. He isn't good.
Gordon can be fantastic. This season it looked like he was out of shape. If he loses 15 pounds, I bet he is elite again. The chances of that happening, ironically, are slim.

Read any thread on him here.
I do not believe anyone here hated him ...
Those who disliked him did so as to his production into the future.
Too many were rating him on the past ... that guy appears to be gone for now anyways.

If the Patriots win the Super Bowl this year he presumably gets a ring - but what if he's an active member of the NFC team they beat? Could he go into the game knowing he's getting a ring from somebody?
Probably but definitely not the most prideful way of getting a ring if he has little to nothing to do with it.

He’s no longer a deep threat but has looked pretty good on intermediate routes and running with the ball in his hands. Should’ve kept him and convert him to a move TE.

Hoping one of the bottom dwelling teams takes a chance on him.

But why do I have feeling he will make his way to a contender and it will come back to bite us...this still honestly doesn’t make a lot of sense because BB/pats really haven’t said whether it’s a physical/injury issue, or whether it’s a substance abuse violation....or whether it’s something else...this entire situation makes absolutely no sense to me
