The seventh overall pick is first in sacks, the second overall pick is second and tied for third are the 16th and 77th pick respectively.

Who might that 77th pick be? None other than our Chase Winovich! Has anyone been as impressed with this kid as I have been? He’s absolutely relentless on the field. Whether it’s special teams or third down and we’re up 30 he knows one speed and he finishes. I still can’t believe so much stock is put into measurables as even on tape he was much better than a lot of the guys taken before him.

I cannot wait to see what he’s able to do a few years from now when he moves his way into a starting position rushing the passer on a majority of the snaps.

Hate him. Wife has the hots for him.

And that's in limited playing time. The guy's been great.

Jachai Polite?

That's the thing though, if he moves into a starting position he probably will be asked to do a whole lot more than just rush the passer. I don't see why he couldn't take on those responsibilities but I also don't think more playing time would necessarily translate to 15 sacks (not that anyone said it would).

why did you tell us if you asked us to guess?

He has played very well

J Allen 7th overall- 2 FF 7 sacks 8 TFL 12 QBH (Not sure why some aren't talking abt him & Bosa for dpoy)

Bosa 2nd overall - 1 FF 1INT 7 sacks 11 TFL 13 QBH

Wino 77th overall - 4.5 sacks 3 TFL 6QBH

Not even going to get into snaps, starts etc. Wino is a high floor, older player. Think Wise. That said his skill set is pretty polished & he has a motor that is unmatched. Excellent value pick. His #'s would look a lot better if he was on abt 20 other teams. 50 is buried in the chart but still making it count.

Exactly, he’d be getting more snaps elsewhere and the numbers would potentially be better but they could potentially be worse as well. He’s on a great defense with incredible coaches in a scheme that fits what he does.

He looks bigger and faster in person than he does on tv. The kid is a keeper.

9 sacks end of year as a rookie playing half the snaps would be excellent

Have we settled on a nickname yet?

I also hate him because @PatsWickedPissah 's wife has the hots for him instead of me.

Hopefully after an offseason in the strength and conditioning program, he will be nfl string next year.

In what I've watch of him, he has the moves and the motor to sometimes beat his pass block assignment. I actually saw an instance where Cleveland double teamed him. But that's data on pass rushing. Obviously he can be put in on passing downs, however, what can he do on downs that aren't passing or when the offense decides to run the ball on what was thought a pass? I think that is the question for CW moving forward. Is he showing enough to be more than a pass rusher?
