Do you mean Carli LLoyd? US Women's National Team?

If the Patriots didn't sign guy who can make 80 yard field goals, they aren't signing Lloyd.. Hell, I'd be afraid of Lloyd getting trampled trying to take down a ball carrier..

Gostkowski got trampled trying to take down a ball carrier and is out for the season as a result.

Might be better if kickers, regardless of gender, do not try to make tackles.

SHULA IS TOAST!!!!!!!!!!

Just had a thought...was yesterday's OL the Worst trotted-out by Bill since the 2015 AFCC?

The 2015 AFCCG O-line wasn't bad at all. Hell, do you even remember who was on that line and WHY?

Let's refresh for you:
Vollmer - LT - Playing there because Solder was out for the season. Vollmer was playing with a shoulder injury.
Cannon- RT - Missed 4 full games due to injury and parts of others. Cannon was playing injured.
Stork - C - Mr. "Early CTE". He was playing injured.
Kline - LG - Missed 2 games due to injury.. Was playing hurt.
Mason - RG - ROOKIE. Had missed 2 games due to injury. Was playing hurt.

Solder had been lost for the year. Wendell had been lost for the year. Waddle was injured and inactive after being a late season acquisition.

So, lets stop pretending like that O-line wasn't good. They just weren't healthy enough to go up against an astonishing Defense like Denver had with Von Miller, Malik Jackson, and DeMarcus Ware.

Do you have an actual link to this claim that Gostkowski got hurt while trying to make a tackle?

I predict he breaks Shulas record when he’s 71

Right now he is 67 and is 47 Wins behind and if averages 10 wins a season from now until age 71 .

I'm of the persuasion that BB will gut it out and surpass Shula.

If things go right, Bill is looking at another 8-11 wins this year.. Let's say 308.. That would be 47..

At 12 wins per year, that's just 4 more years. And Belichick would have surpassed Shula at 29 years in what it took Shula 33 to do.. Granted, Shula had 15 seasons with only 14 games and the strike shorted 9 game season.. But that still says a LOT about what BB has done.

Gostkowski made an extremely goofy tackle on a kickoff, got up limping, and was placed on injured reserve following the game with a hip injury. Doesn't require a detective to figure that one out.

If he has 308 at the end of this season, that would mean 39 to go to tie the record of 347.

And, to be fair, Shula coached most of his career in 14 game seasons.

(Ugh. That felt dirty, being fair to Don Shula :()

Wasa joke. Sorry for stringing you along.

Gostkowski wasn't placed on IR immediately following the game. It wasn't until that Wednesday that he was IRed. They'd played the Bills on Sunday 9/29.

Gostkowski made the tackle on Roberts 40 yard return in the 1st quarter after their TD by Bolden. If that's when Gostkowski got hurt, why did the Pats have him kick the XP on the next series? Why did they have him kick-off to start the 2nd half (a KO that went for a TB btw)? Why did they have him kick the FG in the 3rd quarter?

If Gost had truly be injured on the play you mentioned, then we'd have seen Bailey out there for the plays I mentioned.

The problem with your assumption that he was hurt during the game is that none of the Boston Media made that connection. And that's something they'd normally rush out to do.

Shula has 355 from all the graphics I saw..

Kitchens could coach for 50 years and he wouldn't break that. How did you give the keys to this guy? I mean the Browns aren't a Ferrari but I wouldn't trust Freddie with the family minivan.

I like Soney but Chubb is clearly better. Soney seems to run up the back of his blockers a little too often. Chubb is more decisive. Sees the hole and goes vertical.

Chubb's better, but Sony's problem is the lack of holes. He's perfectly decisive when one is actually there.

Wynn turf toe could be nagging injury....once you get one reoccurrence rate is high

Isn't that why they IR'd him? The injury "nags" when it isn't given time to heal, which shouldn't be a problem here.

Question; during the fourth quarter, the Browns committed a false start under 2mins and had no TO left but a 10sec run off was not taken off by the refs, did anybody else see this?
