Gronk?

I don’t read anything into that, do you?

When you play football, the most important & memorable aspect of that experience is your teammates.
It a joke about how the smirk from the intentional penalties was “the happiest he’s ever seen him.”

I know that. But I think some may read deeper and think it means Gronk hates Bill or doesn’t want to play for him any longer.

But players/teammates & personal goals would be what brings him back

Players always miss the glory and forget about how grueling the game can be. Just imagine playing in front of 60-80k screaming fans and suddenly it’s all quiet....

You reading this Gronk?:)

With Gronk so close to the NFL still...I think that gives him a fix...it gives him enough of the action covering the NFL that the itch isn't full blown poison oak itchy....as opposed to living in a cabin in Montana on a mountain. Sequester him away in the Yukon for a month...he'd get more itchy.

That was very unfunny. I think gronk might find his post career opportunities more limited than he had thought. Oh well, not like he needs the money.

Gronk is skin and bones. Ribs are showing.

That big suit of clothes used to be tight on him.and now the pants are 6 inches too long. Another person could fit in the jacket.

Dude is wasting away.

I've never felt that Gronk wants to come back to the NYFL. I also think his late decision to retire left the team short at TE.

definitely did.

No way Gronk returns. He was really banged up his last few years and I don't think he wants to put his body through that again.

I think he's playing everyone.

Why?

Its not a joke that fans and teammates want him back. He will lose all credibility if he already has.

Gronk was talking about leaving during last season.

The longer Gronk waits...the longer skills deteriorate, your another day older and the team makes plans without you. I don't think Gronk should ever regret retirement...but coming back in 2020 without any "extra" help...he's not going to be close to having the same kinda impact.

I think this will happen in the new CBA, but that doesn't go into effect until 2021. (And I think Gronk is just trying to draw attention to himself and his product and that this wasn't a real "unretirement" announcement)

Gronk setting conditions that already exist

According to Florio:

Second, and more importantly, the NFL’s current rules make it easy to use CBD during football season. If the player is clean during the offseason substance-abuse policy testing window that runs from late April to early August, the player can use CBD at will during training camp, the preseason, the regular season, and the postseason.

Gronkowski suggests that he’ll unretire if NFL legalizes CBD

Send this over to him, once he realizes that he’ll come back and should be ready to go for the Ravens game.

It's a marketing gimmick, from start to end.

What's not being addressed is that if he really does come back, how does he fit under the cap? He's not going to sign for the vet min.
