Gordon to IR

Wonder if we see more of the 2 WR, 1 TE and 2 RB sets we did before Burkhead was out.

Obviously the coaches see enough in practice with either Meyers or Harry, or both. Gordon was def struggling this year and wasn't the same vertical threat, even from last year. It might be the first time in his life hes really played with a lot of pain and no way to really manage it. That could be a tough go for someone. I hope he lands on his feet, finds a team that will pay him and then manages to find a purpose after football. By all accounts he was a good dude, just struggled with substances. But he didn't jeopardize other people. So he has a conscience.

He doesn't suck but he's not Flash Gordon anymore. He still has good speed, but it's not like his best days in Cleveland. Still, I'd rather seem him running routes out there than Dorsett or Jakobi Meyers. Even with losing a half step he's got great hands and size and still decent speed. Seems more like an effort thing to me and inconsistency. Even the commentators of some of the Pats games mentioned in a couple times where Gordon stopped his routes prematurely.

Jacobi Meyers has great hands, too. Catches everything away from his body. Dorsett has always bee
Meyers against Jests was great....need to wait until you see him against top elite D’s....

I think Meyers has already shown he will succeed at this level, and he will just keep getting better as he learns the NFL game and syncs with Brady.

Thing is Sanu can't replace what Gordon could do. Harry? We have no clue what he can do going up against NFL CBs. We have to hope McDaniels will game plan Sanu to succeed with Brady. Thank god for the GOAT.

Clearly too many mistakes being made on the WR position.

Harry goes up against damn good NFL CB's in practice every day, so you may have no clue but I suspect BB and JMcD know what they have. Harry's physical measurables are similar to Gordon, and like Gordon he has great hands, can track the ball well, and has been great after the catch. We'll all get to see shortly what we have.

Good enough to be a middling NFL offense I suppose.

But coupled with an elite defense that may be good enough.

Harry never had that step to lose!

Harry at 4.53 is much faster than either Sanu (4.67) or Meyers (4.63). And Edelman was 4.52, Amendola 4.58, and Welker 4.65.

He has plenty of NFL speed. He could be very good. We'll see shortly.

sorry to see gordon go.

but i guess we got sanu because we knew we were going to put gordon on IR.

maybe he can try again next year. but his stint in new england was short.

sometimes opportunities just get missed in life.

hopefully he takes this time to solidify his life outside of football.

Gordon was given an opportunity and did not produce.

(If he is hurt, it is not his fault)

Sanu will suit up and play.
I meant Gordon could stretch the field, play outside, versus Sanu being more of a slot WR.

But now you get to play with Jules outside with the added benefit of a big, strong guy who is just twitchy enough to get open off the line to get seperation. And when that fails the ability to beat a smaller corner up high from the slot.

Without a doubt disappointed Josh didn't become what he should have here or else where this far.

With a historically good defense, that's more than good enough.

It's been such a roller coaster with WRs this year.

god i hope sanu and harrry can produce something

40 time ≠ NFL speed

Gotta cut him, man, no way around it. If you're one of those people playing with AB and Gordon on your roster just go ahead and unfriend me on facebook right now.
No they update the rosters every Thursday

So, Gordon will be considered “healthy” after the trade deadline, where he’ll then be released and will have to go through waivers.

That makes me feel a bit better, I suppose. It’s probably still likely that a contender gets him, but this should limit the term “contender” to a team like Philly or Buffalo, as opposed to KC or Green Bay.

Of course, there’s still the possibility that a team like the Lions or the Bears get him first, so that’s what I’ll be hoping for.

I agree he has the right. But after employing a murderer and allegedly getting hand jobs maybe he can drop the self righteous routine. I have always gone easy on Kraft but I am sick of the if you even get accused of doing something to a women you are bad but I’ll just use them as prostitutes in my personal life routine.

They cut ties with Hernandez IMMEDIATELY after he was arrested.

People like yourself seem to have issues with facts. The only thing we know for certain was that Kraft was at that massage parlor. That's it. Yes, we have the police CLAIMS that he solicited a hand job and their CLAIM they have it on tape, but here's the thing. They also CLAIMED that they had another guy on tape. They were wrong and he's suing them now.

Want to know what else we know about the situation? The "tapes" have already been suppressed as evidence. It's looking more and more like this group of officers wanted to hook themselves some "big fish" and thought that they could do it with Kraft and the other big names. Unfortunately, they didn't go about it legally.

I don’t get it, if he’s going to be healthy after the bye supposedly why cut him. Is it a performance thing, overpaid?

No.....
:(:(:(:(
Sad very sad
