You have a lot of concern over our how fast our #5WR develops.

We have Edelman, Dorsett, Sanu and Meyers.

If the Patriots view Harry as a #5 even this early in development, then that is a horrible situation.

"concern"?

Not sure how you gleaned that from my post. I inferred that they might be optimistic about Harry, since they've had some time to evaluate him after he returned to practice last week.

Reading between the lines and making an educated guess strikes you as "concern", how exactly?

As a recovering person, I hope the loss of structure and supportive friends all around is not a trigger for him. Hope he stays clean and catches on somewhere else.

Dorsett is no slouch either - he's really coming into his own this year, best i've ever seen him
That was a helluva throw by Brady on that TD Monday night but also a big league catch.

I like all those players, but aside from Edelman this is hardly murderer's row. As a 1st rounder, you really hope Harry can add some true pop. Would sure be nice to develop our own Antonio Brown or DeAndre Hopkins or Michael Thomas or Keenan Allen for once.

nevermind

That's just it. The two bone bruises and then the further knee injury says he's not healthy. He might be healthier than he was. But if he's not 100% the team can put him on the IR, which they did.

As for releasing Gordon, he probably has to pass a physical so that he couldn't turn around and file a grievance that they released him while he was still injured.

You can't release a player on IR without said player agreeing to an injury settlement. The release is at Gordon's behest, full stop.

I hope they don't surprise all of us by re-signing Jordan Richards.

That would be the ultimate cherry on top, wouldn't it?

I know a guy that’s available. His name is Anthony Brown. Not a bad player.

edit: A joke guys.

Just to repeat: injured NFL players may be placed on the reserve list, but they cannot be released from the reserve list and while on the reserve list they continue to be paid their salary. The only time they can be released from the reserve list into free agency is if they sign a settlement agreement in which they usually forego their remaining salary in exchange for hsving their contract terminated and being free to sign with any other team and play again.

Gordon is freely and voluntarily choosing to become a free agent and the Patriots are actively allowing him to do so.

Yeah he's pretty good. Unfortunate that bent over Bob once again bent over against media scrutiny. The Lombardi trophy might as well have been in Patriots Place already.

Sports radio wondering why JG was practicing today and he's to the IR for a bone bruise or something....implying something is being hidden

Terrible. If that line had held up or Brady gets rid of the ball this doesnt happen. So frustrating. Now we know why a 2nd round pick.

So Bill let him go because, it seems, he needed/wanted a roster spot?

I know some of you hate this but just sign AB, damn bro. Kraft needs to let this isshh go.
