This is how I feel about it too. If you want to concede the game, pull your starters. Don’t leave your starters in and expect the other team to put in their backups. I’ve noticed Belichick is even more adamant now about this, and I think he also wants his team conditioned to a 60 minute game of full intensity. No soft zones. No freebies.

Gotta admit. Was a little worried when I found out they were playing the best qb in the afc east. Gonna count our blessings that his qb rating was was 1 point higher than his iq.
I think Darnold just had an off night is all. I’m sure he’ll be back in mvp contention real soon and improve on that 3.6. How can you not?

Edit: Stidham I probably take before Trubisky, Rosen and Falk at this point.
Edit2: Just put Nick Mullens over Darnold. Mullens is statistically better at this point playing for last year's crappy 49ers.

The truth is the refs kept calling ticky-tac fouls on the Pats D trying to get the Jete into the game and they couldn't even cash in on that.
