Interesting hes still dawning pats gear in his video. Im pretty positive he wants to play here and would come back in a second if the organization would partner with him

Kraft needs to get over that ish. He did what he did. He knows we need this guy, your're literally paying him so just sit down with the guy, hash it out and get him in here asap.

I see this thread is still going strong. So what did we decide? Do we want AB back or not? :D

Please let someone else draft our receivers anyone.
They should have a fan contest and the 2 winners get to draft a receiver each in the next draft.

I wish it could be worked out but doubt it will be. Even if he could stand on one hand, juggle three balls with the other and sing the National anthem of Yugoslavia backwards. If he came back, he goes on the exempt list

There is 0% chance Antonio Brown is ever a Patriot again.

Fark..... why do we have Gunner and Myers taking 50+ snaps each when we’re already paying AB for the season. argh!!!

AB isn't getting paid.. He collects ZERO game day checks when he's not on the roster. Patriots didn't guarantee his salary.. He had signing bonus of 9M that they withheld because he was released. That's why he filed the grievance.

Soooo, you mean to say that Lloyd has a better chance to be with Mary than AB is to be with the Patriots?

I agree. I understand why we released him at the time and didn't blame the team. He was getting so much bad publicity from his bad behavior with the Raiders, then for being cut and signed by the Pats. Then the rape allocation and the SI article with so many allegations of bad behavior followed by his angry/threatening texts. It was all blowing up so fast.

Now it's died down and when I look back, what did he really do? Arguing with the Raiders management and skipping practices has nothing to do with the Patriots. The rape allegations sounds like it was bogus and possibly extortion by the girl. Has she even refiled the charges like she said she would? I don't care about the lawsuits of him not paying bills. I don't think walking into a room with the painter while mostly naked is a particularly big deal and it's only her word.

Then we're left with the angry text messages. It was obviously dumb for him to send them. He was obviously trying to intimidate her, but he was not threatening to harm her or her kids. He was threatening to expose her. He pointed out the picture of her kids to comment about her financial situation. Most people seem to think he was mocking her for being poor. I took his comment as sarcasm with his point being she's not the starving artist she claims to be. He said she chases after celebrities to take advantage of them and to contact Meek Mills. That's not a threat to physically harm her or her family and I don't think people would have reacted the same if it wasn't for everything else. It's understandable for him to be angry at someone bad mouthing him to the media.

His teammates reportedly liked him and were upset with him being cut. Brady in particular appears to be supporting him and he probably has more of an inside understanding of Brown's issues since they were living together at the time. The team is going to have to pay him the signing bonus anyway. We need offensive help and may have to give up draft picks and use salary cap space from next season to trade for a lesser player.

As others are saying, let him and Kraft meet and if they can come to an understanding, bring him back. This team's offense and chance to win another ring will be so much better.

This is pretty much what everyone will come to understand in the end. Kraft couldn't handle a few days of pressure and vomited all over the 2019 Patriots season. Just as many said, this would all die down and turn into nothing, but ultimately the Patriots would once again get absolutely screwed because their owner is unable to confuse what's best for the team and what's best for the popularity/image of the NFL writ large, and he shrivels up under any type of scrutiny.

He should have stepped down in 2015 after his epic buffoonish behavior, including a great big, photographed bear hug for the guy who was currently shtting all over his franchise and framed the greatest NFL player of all-time (a player who probably doubled the value of his franchise.) He continues to bumble around like a goddamn fool, falsely crediting himself with the success of Bill Belichick. It's time for him to walk away. I literally want to throw up every time I hear his voice.

When are you guys going to realize the League office is not going to let him play this year? Nothing to do with Kraft. It’s over.

There’s more of a chance for a Gronk return than an AB return. Put your fantasy feelings in that thread.

Expert opinion states the Pats will have to pay the $9m. No way out. Hence the comment that he’s getting paid already. We already have the cap space committed to him.

if only Kraft was as sane and logical as you....

There's like a 6-7% chance. It's highly unlikely but not 0%. Never say never.

There is no actual evidence of this. It was a theory floated by supafly that seemed logical. Few doubt something would happen to Brow n and that he’d likely be out on the exempt list and probably suspended. There’s a better than 50% chance he’d be back on the team after that’s all over. The Patriots would receive an extra roster spot during Exempt/Suspension time anyway and would probably wind up paying him practically nothing and getting him in the postseason (or sometime after week 10). The league didn’t choose to release him to halt the punishment process though; Early Bird Bob did.

If the league wanted to drag their feet and put him on the exempt list forever, wiping out his season while pretending to investigating but really just stalling, the NFLPA would be constantly up their ass about this clear violation of what the exempt list is for.

How has Harry looked in practice?
BB will let the media know on his next PC. Better yet, I think Harry should go instagram live during practice!
