Robby Anderson v pats during Gilmore’s tenure:

2019 G1 5 targets 3 receptions 11 yards 0 TDs
2018 G1 5 targets 2 receptions 22 yards 0 TDs
2018 G2 8 targets 3 receptions 24 yards 0 TDs
2017 G1 12 targets 4 receptions 76 yards 0 TDs
2017 G2 3 targets 1 reception 2 yards 0 TDs

Texans aren’t off a bye week, but it’s off a long week; they play the Thursday night before. Apparently that account thinks that looking up Sunday games is good enough research; you sure that isn’t Ben Volin’s alt?

I know you got nothing but "disagrees" for this, but how can anybody not be worried about an offense with:

- Gordon out, Dorsett iffy
- no fullbacks
- no tight ends who have played a game for the Patriots this decade
- shotgun snaps still aiming at Brady's forehead
- Marshall f'in Newhouse at left tackle

And the Jets have a very good defense. Not great, but good. I do expect a win because I think the advantage of Pats' D over Jets' O is huge, but the game could be an ugly slog.

Yeah, but the Jets have a poor offensive line, an average receiving corps, and the Patriots know how to handle Leveon Bell. They won't put up many points against this defense.

Tomlinson and Watson are the next men up at TE, and they are complimentary. We know Watson will run routes that Brady can trust. He can open up the underneath passing game since the Jets will have to account for him.

Let's see what 10 days with Scar did to help out Marshall Newhouse. He should get better the more time he has with the Patriots. He has looked unsure out there with his assignments. That is mental and can be coached.

I agree that this one could be a grinder, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Patriots get out to an early two-score lead and make the Jets offense start pressing to keep up.

and Tomlinson is actually a capable blocking TE, unlike Izzo

Pats might actually see improvement at TE with Watson & Tomlinson in.

1 point for every 20 yards receving
1 point per reception (PPR)
6 points for each touch down

Who do you start in FFL: Ben Watson or Jakobi Meyers?

Thanks in advance!

Really has lost its feel, Gruden and Torico were much better.

As much I disliked that pair, I'd take them back in a heartbeat. The current crew is just awful.

Ben.

Disclaimer: I'm 3-3 in FF, so flipping a coin may be the better play.

Thanks, Dude...I think I am rolling with Meyer...he's been playing...and saw increased targets 10 days ago. He's the #2 tonight... Watson hasn't played football in a bit....not sure what kind of impact he'll have. Although, I think Watson has more red zone potential...hmmm...hmmm.....I am torn...

My rationale is that the Pats will call plays specifically for Watson to get his feet wet. Wouldn't shock me to see one or two endzone targets as part of that.

Chris

I think our offense will struggle tonight . Hope i am wrong. It be under 24 points. I see it 21-14 or 21-17 pats.

Worst part about Monday games is focus.... for me.

You mean the Booger man (ripsnort) and washed-up lounge singer Tessitore aren't up to par?

Anybody else love playing on Monday Night? I feel like most people here hate anytime but 1.

Funny things is I think their next 6-7 games are all late games.

No. I sit there all day Sunday wishing we were playing at 1:00 p.m., and then I sit at work all day on Monday, unable to concentrate and wishing it were 5:00 already!

Tuned into Felger & Mazz hoping for some talk about tonight's game...nope...30 minutes of straight Brady/Netflix BS....ugh
