Awesome for different reasons...;)

Went to the BC game the day before (they crushed Russell Wilson's NC State) and it was 65 degrees and gorgeous at night, wasn't even wearing a coat. Then we got on the train to the Patriots game the next morning, it was about 55 and raining, then it dropped about 25 degrees during the train ride from Norwood or Dedham and there was already an inch of snow.on the ground. We went bzck to the train early, but I've never been happier to change my clothes than at that hotel right nesr the train station. Great game though.

Funny, I’m kind of the opposite. I skip some regular season games here and there, especially when the weather is bad, but I never miss a playoff game no matter what. It’s caused me pain but it’s been worth it.

To each his own....me? I like watching the playoffs at home with the fire going....

AND I live in California....California made me a wimp...I am almost embarrassed for myself...almost...

I totally get it! I watched the last Pats-Giants game from home and was so happy to not be in that wind and rain. But so far I’m able to tolerate the playoffs. I’m sure eventually things will turn.

I was at that Jaguars game. That was friggin' cold. I had hot hands in my mittens and hot feet in my snow boots and I was still freezing my butt off. :)

The Ravens AFCC game was another cold one. At that game, I had a friend's Coleman camp stove and it wouldn't light. I think the fuel froze.

Not a season ticket holder, but count me in that crowd that was at that exact game. Went with a friend. When I go I dress as if I'm being left out in the cold for a week. My buddy just had a sweatshirt in jeans. Fortunately there were some nice people around us who let him borrow gloves, handwarmers, and a scarf.

This wasn't THE SNOW GAME but it did snow during this game.

We haven't had a snow game in a while.

I agree, the last ones I recall were 2015 at Denver and 2010 at Chicago. I'm sure there are others I'm forgetting.

This 2009 game was the last one I remember at Gillette (at least any significant snow)

2009 Patriots went 10-6. No show in postseason. Was there a talent issue on that team? Brady recovering from his injury? Fluke?

Blew a million halftime leads on the road.

Lacked consistency, determination and character.

Reminiscent of late 70's talented Patriots teams which could not follow through in the clutch.

It's striking how football remains football; that the challenges are the same today as then (winning in Miami, any given Sunday, playoff hurdles).

Teams just put a top on Moss' routes snd bracketed Welker. We were still effective on offense except against elite teams like the Saints that year...we actually opened the game in New Orleans with a great drive before it all started to unravel. Then Welker gets hurt in Houston in the season finale....Ravens come to Foxboro and Ray Rice opens the game with a long TD....and the D just doubled Moss...we were trying to make them pay by hitting Sam Aiken deep....

My poor wife is a Titans fan. To her credit, she watched that entire game to the end. She just wanted to see if the Titans could score.

I was there and never will forget it. It was bizarre. NOBODY expected it to snow that day.

I went to the Saints game that year. Pats were up 7-3, we forced a punt and returned it near midfield. I remember thinking this was our chance, we needed to get another score, put pressure on them and take the crowd out of it.

Brady threw a pick on the first play of the drive I believe, and I knew then the game was over. Saints dominated after that. I recall Brees had 5 TDs and 5 incompletions.

My son and I went to the Tennessee game. When we saw what the weather was going to be like, my wife said “you’re not going, are you?”
We got there early and when Ghost was warming up we called out to him and he turned and gave us a thumbs up and a smile in return.
When Moss caught one of the TDs my son ran down to the railing and just missed getting a high five....there was a picture the next day that cropped my son out but not the corner of his poncho...LOL.
We stayed until there was about 3 or4 minutes left, cause at that point our feet were too soaked and cold.
We had a great time and still talk about it occasionally.... great memory for us both.
