Drunk Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas Yells Out 'F*** Tom Brady' In Snapchat Video

The Patriots paid him a good chunk of money while he rehabbed, and it’s widely believed they traded with their most hated rivals for the first time in 20 years so he’d get to play for his old OC and be in a good situation. For those who haven’t picked up on it, I’ve thought lowly of this guy and made it known while he was here, as I think he’s a spoiled, pampered little douche with a fragile ego who plays soft. Good riddance...enjoy your time with the losers...a great organization where you can btch and moan. Good luck Monday night against Gilmore and co.

I only regret that I have but one like to give.

DT has every right to feel bad. He has no right to blame Belichick. Belichick has a job to do and there is no indication (and it would be 100% out of character) that any promises were made or "words" given to be broken.
If Thomas wants respect from Bill and to feel good, then go out there and put up some great numbers. Otherwise, shut up and accept that Belichick -- a guy who knows what it takes -- didn't think you had it anymore.

The structure of the contract to which Bill hastily signed him was Not smart, however...Sadly, it was kinda like the Exact Opposite of that...

Hindsight is 20/20. At that moment BB wanted to get AB and commit as few as possible for the year. He had to guarantee the whole amount to get AB for $9m.

Then Kraft blew a gasket.

Dorsett and Meyers pushed Thomas off the roster. Thomas is not in the same stratosphere as AB and is a totally different player. He was competing for the 3rd/4th spot on the depth chart. This offense would still have the same issues with DT. Getting Dorsett back is a bigger upgrade.
Dorsett is inconsistent at best.....invisible man when healthy some weeks....not seeing him as a huge upgrade over the present day Thomas if both are healthy now.....sorry Dorsett has been pretty average ....Thomas has potential still to be well above average....

You are right....at that moment BB had the hottest girl and turned the girl next door away...hopefully doesn’t come back to singe his backside

If Bill thought Thomas was going to be helpful and only let him go because of Brown, then I’ll say the same thing I said in another thread, trade a fifth to the Jets to get him back.

The Jets and their fans will be giddy about pulling one over on the Pats, and if the Pats want him, they’ll have him back for basically nothing.

Thomas proving that everyone who ever called him soft, is 100% correct.

Prove it ...
One player for Belichick who was ever promised a no cut position.
There has never been 1 ... ever.

Belichick cut Asante Cleveland on Christmas ... he is ruthless.

He also cut Tiquan Underwood the night before the Super Bowl.

I have to wonder why someone would butcher English grammar like this by deliberately doing five times as much work at the end of every sentence.

Why, man, why?

This was from 2017. I doubt he would have been picked up at all if this was a problem to Brady and the team.

Not expecting much from him on Monday night,

I think the point here is that he says whatever he thinks he's supposed to say depending on the team he's on. No sincerity there.

Thomas is not even clearly outplaying Meyers right now. To get to Dorsett Thomas has to jump up 1-2 Tiers.

You and others get hung up on him because of who he was 5 years ago. He would have not only been more expensive but also taken snaps away in practice and games from younger players.

Remember Darelle Revis? He was faaaar worse with that. He actually hated the Patriots before and after they gave him his one ring. He sent his mom to the Kraft home for the ring ceremony and she was told to get back in the cab.

That’s some impressive stat twisting going on there.

Be careful... Dorsett has a bit of a cult following on the board now, as evidenced by your three 'Disagree' you received. Lol

You are just missing the bigger point.

Right now he is a WR3/WR4 that is not substantially outplaying the Patriots rookie options but would be absurdly more expensive while blocking the development of those younger players.

For a one year vet to be worth it under those conditions he'd either needed to be a lot cheaper or produce like a borderline WR2.

Would it be nice to have him here right now with all the injuries and AB gone ? He'd surely be an upgrade over Gunner for those 4-5 targets per game. He would not have the same role as Edelman or Dorsett and be behind a healthy Gordon.

Where will his targets come from to make it worth the money ? Alternatively is it worth it to have him just as injury depth at that price ? How is that working out with another veteran like Bennett ?

It’s the “not substantially outplaying” part that is really incorrect and the stats are being twisted to make it look so.
