The Next 3 Games At Receiver

I still wonder when/If the Offense will snap out of it's Funk.......When will the OL actually look decent?

Well, Watson and Tomlinson should help out on the edges (no more Izzo taking on DEs!). Also if Burkhead is back that will help short passing. Right now they have to work around waiting for Wynn.

Right now the idea of winning to fugly games against NYJ and CLE is something I'd be happy with.

They are going to need Dorset-Harry-Gordon for that Baltimore game especially with the Ravens stocking up with Peters.

Meyers was the training camp reception & catch % leader, had a 71% catch rate in the preseason & is now 8 for 10 in the regular season. He had a fine game last week & the Jets corners aren't much better. Hopefully he can build on his performance.

Let's finally see that deep ball completion to Slater!!

Unfortuneltly it's going to take a loss illustrating the sordid condition of the NE passing offense to make people realize that Brady needs WR help.

You watch Brady out there and he consistently goes to White and Edelman because they have earned his trust. White and Edelman make the correct route adjustments and get open quickly so Brady can release the ball.

When Brady has to wait for a guy to get open the trouble begins. I hate seeing Brady get hit so often trying to extend a play.

IMHO their depth at receiver is not as concerning as their line play and their inability to get yards in obvious running situations. I would actually prefer this receiving group over what they went into the Rams game with. The obvious difference this year's team is they cant run so they're more dependent on their pass catchers to carry the load.

BB has put WRs at cornerback in a pinch. Could he try out J. Jones or Dmac at WR? Teach them two routes where they run really fast in a straight line. Dmac has four receptions this year as it is.

Might be fun to watch for minute even if it produces Sh**y offense.

If Watson, Dorsett and Gordon are all back (as may posters believe), we should score many, many points.

Who thinks Gordon is back?

I agree with the OP that Gordon will be out for a bit...I mean that leg should have just broken right off....didn't look good to me and I was AMAZED that he got up and walked off the field (with a bit of help if I may add).

And I don't want to over do it with Jules anyway. We all know Jules goes 110% every time....we need to save Jules from himself, IMO. No more than 10 targets and not in tight traffic....

Dorsett should be OK, but can we count on him as a #2? I think Meyers is ready to make some plays.....Olszewski too...

And this is a perfect opportunity to get our run game going....just keep pounding it...and punt it and let our D do its magic...if our D gives up touchdowns...then start airing out the ball...

Agree 100%. I'd love to see Jakobi get a couple of weeks of first team reps in practice with Brady. Let's see what the kid can do.

Nkeal harry will be back against baltimore, so the question is next two and if josh gordon can get back for cleveland

Doubtful Gordon will be back before the BYE. Why risk more injury ?

Looking at it long term and increasing the probability to get to the postseason with as many players healthy as possible is more important than potentially dropping a game against the Jets, Browns or Ravens.

You won't win a title in the next three games but by risking key players you can negatively affect your odds.

Pats have to be healthy AFTER the bye........If they win the next 3 games it's a bonus..

It doesn't matter what "people" realize or don't.
