On to the Jets!

Jason Witten...heh heh...ooooooooooooooooooo...scareeeeeeeeeeee....

Not crazy about Van Noy soliciting "nicknames" and t-shirt designs for the Pats defense prior to playing a team with absolutely nothing to lose...very Un-Belichick Team-Like...kind of smacks of Brady saying (and I'm paraphrasing) "We're only gonna score 17? OK..." in an answer to a pre Super Bowl question about a score prediction...

Sometimes that's a good thing and sometimes not. The Giants wearing black to the Patriots 19-0 funeral for instance didn't come back to bite them. I would say this kind of thing tends to work better for defenses than offenses though.

The Jets took down a Dallas team with Zeke Elliot, Jason Witten and WRs Tavon Austin and Mike Gallup. And a Kicker who isnt afraid of his own shadow.

Expect a dog fight.

Who is the cowboys coach and QB? Because the Pats have Belichick and Brady

The Jets will be no cake walk with the Pats problems on offense.
Hoping they have some of these issues figured out. At least they should know what doesn't work? Who can't be relied upon to block his man? Maybe not play these guys or call something different. These games are more meaningful now.

NE @ NYJ recent history

2018 27-13 (10-10 at halftime)
2017 24-17
2016 22-17
2015 Loss 26-20
2014 17-16
2013 Loss 30-27

You have to go back to 2012 for a blowout win at their place

I don't see why we shouldn't expect a decent battle.

Darnold made the correct reads and throws. Bell started to get going. The Jets defense played well and they hit Dallas in the mouth. The team looked energized getting Darnold back.

I expect a good game and do not believe the Pat's will simply roll over the Jets.

After re-watching the Cowboys vs Jete, I agree with many on this Board that this will be a tough, low-scoring rock fight on the road.

The Jete are better than their record now that Darnold is back. That said, I expect our Defense to confuse and stifle even though their receivers are good. Bell and Crowder are currently their best skill players.

I believe that our OLine will be severely tested against the Jete front seven. Their sh*tbag DC is known for blitzing (and head-hunting ), so protecting TB is paramount (as always!)

Bottom line: I expect this game to be competitive with a loud, boisterous crowd.

Good times!

Go Pats!
Robbie Anderson is a good player too.

Didn't realize the cowboys secondary was on the level of the Pats. As for Bell, 14 carries at 3.6 ypc isn't getting going.

I’m honestly just happy to have a game where a blowout doesn’t feel preordained. If it IS a blowout, that’s great. But at least there’s some uncertainty.

The JEST have Darnold and their optimism back. This is our Super Bowl :D

Oh wait no, the Super Bowl is our Super Bowl. They'll prolly play us tough though.

Dallas pass defense is ranked 19th. Buffalo who ranks 24th gave the Pats all they could handle.

2019 DEFENSIVE EFFICIENCY RATINGS | Football Outsiders

Bell had his best YPC this season and scored his first TD = getting going. Basically, Darnold behind center will help Bells game.

This is a trap game for the Jete ...
They think they are good now ...
time for a slap upside the head for them.

Seems bogus. It should be New Jersey Jete message board.

Also, it uses the alphabet to convey language in type. That doesn't look like JETE material to me.

Far be it from YOU (my sig) to jump the gun or anything........
