Jalen Ramsey traded to Rams

Rams showing why “cap is crap”.

I think the Rams see the writing on the wall after the SB lost and how the 49ers beat them.
They won’t compete until they are better on defense to win a 10-3 game given Goff’s struggle. I still don’t believe they make the playoffs this season, but I get why they made the trade. KC would be served to get defensive help too, but I’m not sure there is enough out there to help the sinking ship.

Highway robbery, the rams are some bloated!

Jags are going to become so much better with all them picks going forward!

This is madness. Is there really any confidence this guy, of all people, is going to play out that last year on his rookie deal, short of a new contract that makes him the highest paid CB in history? The Rams abandoned all their leverage by pulling the trigger without a new agreement in place.

Plot twist: Ramsey wanted out because they didn't "Go to the super bowl and win that *****".
That describes most teams. Ramsey just hitched his wagon to a team that probably won't get a playoff birth - so not much different than the Jaguar experience. The Rams aren't catching the Seahawks and 49ers. That means the Rams will have to grab that 6th wild card spot against teams from weaker divisions. I'm not even convinced the Rams do better than the Cardinals if Gurley doesn't kick the injury bug.

Ramsey is a talented loser. No leadership skills and lots of belly aching. He is the Antonio Brown of elite corners before Brown went full-blown loco.

Doesn't really move the needle for them, act of desperation. They are done, yeah the Patriots burried another one.

Next.

"And with the first pick of the 2021 draft via trade from the Los Angeles Rams, the Jacksonville Jaguars pick Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson."

Regards,
Chris

I wonder if it will be the highest costing rental in league history if Ramsey ends up somewhere else next year. It will feel especially costly if the Rams go 8-8 and then he leaves.

The ultimate twist would be if he ends up signing a free agent contract this offseason with the Jaguars. Unlikely, but it would be hilarious.

Sure...fine. Brings me joy the Fins tank amounted to nothing.

Jacksonville’s qb problem solved for the next decade or so!

Was weird when they traded Peters wow
that’s a lot of compensation

That's what an " all in" team does.

Think about that the next time you come up with an all in scenario.

I say that respectfully and without snark because despite disagreeing with you a majority of the time I think your posts are entertaining. Seriously.

The winner of this trade: The Patriots.

Ramsey not going to a contender in the AFC is a big deal. Peters on the Ravens is big, but I don't is big, but not back breaking like giving the Chiefs a major game changer in the secondary.

Miami gets Tua next year.

Chris

I don't think a sure thing exists any more. Tua...Trevor...I'm not a fan of privileged 1st round QB snowflakes. I want someone who has a chip on their shoulder...who doesn't forget what round they were drafted in...ever. Give me a QB who wants revenge...who works constantly at their craft. A QB that doesn't setting for 2nd best.

Give me that QB and a solid offensive line...I'll take him over the snowflakes...every give(en AND TAKE) Sunday.

Way too much. Trading top draft picks for players you need to pay top dollar for anyway is a losing proposition long term.

I do not know about a chip, but Herbert is having a decent season and playing like he is pissed at being passed over by tua!

Love that attitude. Thing is...he's going to be pissed at whoever took Tua and Trevor instead of him...theirs something to be said for that. But...how about the kid that was passed over by ever team....on an average of 5-6 times. Your gonna have a chip for every team...for years to come.
