IMO, the need no. 1 is an add to the Offensive line. Any Talent upgrade, to any of those 5 OL spots, is crucial. Even if one of the IR (Wynn/ Andrews) guys were to return later, an upgrade in the Road Grater position, will allow for an improvement in the clock-churning running game.

We need a center who can micromanage the rest of the OL like Andrews probably was. Just to be clear though, Andrews can't return this year as he was placed on IR before the season started.

Very clickbait-y title.

Karas appears to screw up line calls every game.

until he gets those call right, our o line will appear out of sync.

TE is definitely a need as well and for similar reasons. Run blocking , pass protection and an additional target. Right now we're watching TEs getting ragdolled at the line.

Agree with the rest.

I'm not seeing what you're seeing. I wouldn't even put "need an upgrade at center" in the top 3 needs for the offensive line, never mind the entire offense or team.

OL needs of greater import than an upgrade at center:

  • Wynn return
  • Cannon return to pre-injury form
  • Mason to get over whatever lower body injury seems to be bothering him.

Just my $.02, though.

We need a kicker unless last week was due to wind... We can't go for it on 4th down when it could be a 45 yard kick... Gonna come back to bite us... Nugent better have a good showing this week

Upgrade at center may not be top three need, but that doesn’t mean it’s not needed

As far as entire offense or team, I’d say fixing problems with the OL is number one for the entire team, thus necessarily also number one for the offense.

Maybe a Scar is getting old, maybe he just doesn’t have the material to work with, but whatever it is we’re not seeing his usual magic. That’s worrisome.

Why is this? He was good when he filled in at center before.
His play and Shaq Mason’s are both a disappointment. Mason’s$46 million contract may have taken the edge off what was once an elite drive blocker.
The big mansion’ll do that to a guy.

Mason was great last year. Try again.

A competent LT and extra blocker (TE) is really all that is needed imo. Wynn if healthy will be a big boost, as should Watson. Unless we find a diamond OL for pennies I expect them to roll with Wynn return and maybe a TE/WR trade and that's it. With Harry coming back too, TE becomes the biggest addition. I'd love to see OJ Howard and Watson as our TEs. That would shore up edge blocking and run blocking plus add two interior catching options.

Clonamery, that post was so funny I laughed out loud.
A great way to start my day. Thank you!

While we are at it one does not churn a clock, this is a churn :

One chews up or kills a clock. This is a clock killer:

Time churns for no man but you can burn a timeout.

You can also churn a roster. This is the finest example of a roster churner known to the football world:
