Sorry if this has been touched upon but I think this is a logical choice. Question is would he be willing???? He has the size and knowledge of the system. Plus would be great in play action. Thoughts....

Need a poll.

He doesn’t really have the size and has no real experience lead blocking

not sure why he’d even be an option.

he is pretty much the same size (5’11 220) as Burkhead (5’10 215) and Michell (5’11 215).

Develin and Jakob Johnson are both 6’3 255

Bolden is too valuable to be stuck at Fullback.

Bolden has been having a great year and making the most of his reps at RB. I’ve never been much of a fan, but he had a great game against the Giants and has been running hard. It wouldn’t be surprising to see his reps increase steadily at the expense of Michel. He deserves to be on the field more.

I think his role is varied (jack of all trades) to keep defenses honest.
I doubt he gets a fixed position ...
He was missed utilized before ... which is different from misused.

Agree that Bolden is having a good season and changing him to fb would affect that.
Since a fb is a relevant part of pats offense, is there any serviceable one out there?

Willing to what? Gain 40 pounds by the weekend?

I laughed but do think it's a viable option. Not the weight gain but the use in a FB role.

Maybe we can lure Danny Woodhead out of retirement. There’s another fullback if I’ve seen one. Woodhead and Bolden can take turns blocking for the RB, Kyle Van Noy.

Call up Marcel Reece and see if he’s interested. Always wanted to see what Belichick could do with that guy, better late than never.

Brandon is one of our "swiss army knife" players, but a fullback he is not..

Always have a soft spot for UDFA's who make it in the NFL.. against all odds, or against all the "Draft Prognosticators"..

Why not make Bolden the left tackle and put Phillip Dorsett in as fullback?

That’s ridiculous. How will Dorsett play left tackle when he’s already being converted to defensive tackle on the other side of the ball?

I think Bolden is good in the role he is in. I hope he keeps getting snaps while Burkhead is out. Bolden has been running good so far, and he is a good pass catcher. Keep feeding him, maybe the defenses won't be expecting him to do anything

Bolden maybe much better than regarded he runs with more power and catches everything thrown his way. I think Bolden should be our designated short yardage RB instead of Brady and that other guy.
