No we are on to the JETS thread??
Don't understand your question. You might be looking for something else -- this is the Jets Suck thread.

Last night's jete win was great. It gave the resident troll exactly what he needed to come in here with his grape ape chest pounding delusional vitriol leading up to the " big game".

His dreams of capt spleenboy becoming the next Joe Montana have been reestablished. He's been waiting for this week for five long years. He is dreaming of the Jete finishing the season 12-4.

But..... We all know how this ends. 8-8.

Indeed, the Jets fans have now significantly increased that most precious commodity - hope. Without hope, you can never sink to the pit of despair that has been their entitlement for decades now. Without hope, mediocre can look like success instead of what it truly is. Without hope, the Rex Ryan style bragging fades as it is immediately understood by all for the delusion that it is.

But now, with renewed hope, the endless cycle can start again. The countdown of wins (losses ignored). The cherry picking of stats proclaiming their QB on the road to being "The Best". The belief in not only the players, but the coach, the GM and (absurdly enough) the Owner!

But we know how this goes. We've seen the cycle before and we know how this ends. So, Jets fans, enjoy your hope while it is here for the days will come when it will be but a distant memory.

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

Curious thing that, outside of the devotees of that most accursed of franchises the entire football following universe knows how this ends. It seems hard to believe an entire fan base can be afflicted with the same learning disability but then one must consider these are Jete fans we are talking about so it isn't so much a disability as it is an unfortunate but unavoidable genetic defect.

WHEN is DT Sneezy Quinine finally going to play? After all, the football world is anxious to see this all-world No. 3 overall pick in action. Is he still battling hay fever or is he just another Jete bust?

I was going to look up "Jets draft bust" on Google to see if Vernon Gholston was the highest-picked draft bust for the JETE, but Google corrected my "bust" to "busts". :p

(He wasn't, of course.)

Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies.

And they see that strand as being as strong as a spider's web, when it's really as brittle and frail as grandmas's grey hair. I can see why they celebrate their successes or appearance of success (Winning the off season) as it prevents them from self-assessing their fandom and recognizing all the energy they've wasted in following the team.

It made me puke to want the Cowboys to win, but it made me puke more to watch "Fireman Ed" posturing. May the Buttfumble Gods be with us next week!

Damn the Cowboys to hell for allowing da Jete to win and thus giving them & their twisted fanbase a reason for them to play hard (& dirty?) next Monday...now they think they're somebody.

That's gonna be one really loud crowd if things are close in the 3rd.

Yes, the Patriots live in fear of Guido types with square-shaped heads, slicked-back hair, gold necklaces and pinky rings yelling loudly.

You need to be there, no excuses. You can't claim to be much of a fan if you live in the area and don't attend games.

You mean like the crowd yesterday where there were more Cowboy fans than Jete fans? Pathetic.

One win. The Jete are now monovictorious.

Regards,
Chris

The next time the Jets crowd is loud, will be the first time the Jets crowd is loud.
