It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Look at Sanu’s numbers.....we need explosive elite WR here....not a declining possession guy....I think everyone saw how a guy like AB opened up this offense....now I guess he is done here...but they need another elite WR to really get O firing.....Diggs could be that guy but they aren’t trading him most likely....sanu....AJ Green (injured a lot now)....not really going to help that much....
Miguel - you are the best, but you are stating it.
From your Twitter:
"Yes, I am accounting for Antonio Brown's 2019 $5M cap hit and 2020 $4.5M dead money."
I was joking around. He said there is no need for Miguel while quoting my number.
I see the AB crowd is getting more and more frantic with each passing day that reveals he ain’t coming back at all so their posts are getting more bitter and personal late on Saturday nights.
However, thank you for YOUR well reasoned, stated post stc, although I disagree. There are no possible elite spectacular receivers available right now. As you mentioned Diggs isn’t going anywhere unless someone make a “this year is it to save our HCs job” Houston Texans type panic trade and AB is busy doing his “last days of Rev. Jim Jones” imitation.
It’s the real world. Bennett is an extra piece right now who is beginning to sound like Ross Perot’s VP running mate (“Why am I here?”). Sanu has had 60 catches in 4 of the last 5 years and is an excellent route runner and smart enough to learn a new system. He has 29 catches through 5 games this year, so he’s well on the way to 5 in 6 of 60 catch years. Is he a big play guy? No. But the Pats don’t even have a threat at TE right now so any other pass catching tool they can add would be an addition. Bennett at this point would be no big loss.
I’ll leave it to the AB folks who are obviously panicking and getting personally bitter to twirl faster and faster as each day and game goes by with their Rev. Jim Jones preaching from his compound.
Remember where the term “Drinking the Koolaid” actually came from?

I've never been in the pro-AB crowd, but I don't think each day passing makes him less likely to return. His prorated cap hit for whatever he signs continues to drop by the week, and he will have a hot market the second the NFL reveals its punishment (this part is where the holdup will be for a long time).
I still don't think we need him.
Good post.
I'd only state we need another very good WR.
We don't need AB
We could use AB the talent. Not sure if I agree with that. AB was a game changing WR which would have opened up the offense making scoring easier. I don't think Sanu ( a good reciever) or the like does the same thing because he doesn't demand double coverage etc..
So knowing that AB isn't coming back for various reasons my thoughts are what would be the next best move.
Improve the Oline/blocking to give Brady more time is the way to go IMO.
Who comes back from IR will ultimately decide who they trade for if they trade/sign for anyone.
- If that's Wynn and Devlin perfect. This alone would significantly help the offense become more consistent. Maybe add a TE. ( Why not Watson?)
If it's Wynn and Harry then they should go out and get a solid TE and or a FB. ( Again, why not Watson?)
Anyway with Brown out of the picture I don't think a good wr helps as much as other positions would.
We could use AB the talent.
We don't need or want AB the narcissistic skitzo
