When we drafted, we had a solid swing tackle that hadn't retired. And maybe we can hold off on discussing who we should have drafted at WR. Harry wasn't a reach, he didn't miss games in college due to injury and some analysts were saying he'd end up being the best WR in the draft. Perhaps let him play first?

I am not saying Harry is a bust and feel very good about the 2019 WR class in general. But I wonder if A.J. Brown was on our Board he played the Slot in College Big boy too would have no problem playing outside. Again if I had the choice he would have been the pick just saying.

Cajuste had the surgery in March. It was a torn quad, so how long he takes to recover is yet to be seen. Also a large man 6'5" 330, sitting around for seven months with little activity may be even larger now. Now that week 6 has passed, he can begin practicing let's see if we hear or see him around the facility in the upcoming days. The fact that nobody has seen him around the facility is troubling. A player on PUP or NFI can participate in meetings and get treatment. So he should have been attending Dante U all this time. The fact that nobody has seen him is troubling.

He is a solid tackle, and could be a steal in the third round, if he can get healthy and the Pats can retrieve him from the undisclosed location that they currently have him stashed in.

IF memory serves me only two guys can be brought back from IR, and right now the top two seem to K'Neal Harry and Isiah Wynn seem to be the two most needed...

Another stupid NFL rule, if a guy gets hurt and cannot play put him on a reserved list, when he is better bring him back.. they are paying him not to play even if he recovers?? Makes no sense to me... do it like MLB does it...

TBF, I don't think the media are normally allowed near the meeting rooms, etc.

NFI/PUP is a separate list with no restrictions on numbers and no effect on IR/DTR.

Cajuste isn't on IR, he's on the NFI list, so like someone on PUP, getting activated off of it won't count like IR.

Good catch, but nothing will detract from my position that allowing only two players on IR to return in a season is antiquated and idiotic, players heal and they are all paid whether or not they are dressed or not..

It is there to prevent teams from stashing players on IR to circumvent roster limits.

To me the more antiquated rule is a maximum roster size. You already have a spending limit via the salary cap. If a team would prefer to have a roster of 70 players it would come at a cost.

It is still antiquated and idiotic, consider the MLB if a player gets hurt he can return.. the NFL war of attrition hurts the game..

To address your issue the league can set a limit on the number of IR's for any given team...

The whole concept of having 53 players and 8 practice squad players while only allowing 46 to dress is also stupid, you pay all of them and at any given time players can be moved to address the specific needs of the team..

I have literally no idea who you guys are talking about.

Poor Yodney, he don't get no yespect, no yespect at all I tell ya

Alright fellas, talked to a source and got provided with a little bit of info. Yodney Cajuste is now in WITSEC, and to avoid being found had his name changed to Codney Yajuste. Couldn’t give much more info other than he was living in a small town with no music or dancing and over controlling Reverend. Did say once his injury is healed he plans to take over this town, and that it’s his time to dance.

Not like it isn't but if he gets a Red-shirt year our pathetic Drafting can be questioned. He is a Guy we need in the Second Half same goes for Harry. I really hope Harry works out but I would have Drafted A.J. Brown instead who would have been a Stud with Brady...Brown is a really good young player aarrrgh the Patriots evaluation process.
Pathetic drafting???? Too bad BB doesn't know how to build a team and every year the Pats end up stinking.

Fully expecting a redshirt season.

Not stupid. Unscrupulous NFL owners/coaches stashed healthy guys on IR. Reason for the rule.

He has actually lost a ton of weight . 2 weeks ago

But there's bound to be a better way to adjust to that problem. The current rule ends careers prematurely.
