I’m not believing anything about AB unless Adam Schefter or Ian reports it.
Although I wish they never cut AB, the ship has sailed. There is no going back and there’s too much drama surrounding him this season that can lead to bad omen. He wasn’t meant to be a long term Patriot. I truly believe it’s meant for the defense to carry us to a super bowl.

We don't know if he failed to disclose this.

We also don't know if he could have disclosed this if they were in confidential settlement talks. Remember she first asked for $10m and then was willing to settle for $2m and then filed the bogus civil suit when he refused the shakedown.

It was widely reported settlement talks had broken off, hence the lawsuit.
As for the team or the league knowing anything in advance of the signing, the NFL's quasi official mouthpiece had this to say:

"Rapoport reported Wednesday that neither the NFL nor the Patriots were aware of the allegations against Brown or a pending lawsuit when they signed him Saturday."

Bring back just for the ****aree

Yeah I just don’t see the Pats going down that road again, I’m certain they’ve moved on. Drew can reach out all he wants to the team but I’m guessing the ship has sailed.

You don’t bash Kraft on twitter for all to see and then get signed again

He is the same guy that a few days ago said that we were close to trade for aj green.
Don't give him much credit. And very few guys are "connected" in Patriots organization

Links to what? The CBA? The CBA is out there and easily found but, perhaps more valuable, is the article by that S.I. lawyer guy who quotes the relevant passages of the CBA relating to forfeiture of a signing bonus.

As I said before I believe both the Pats and AB have a solid case. If I had to bet I’d go with AB but I certainly wouldn’t bet anything valuable.

Logically I don’t have to provide a link to support a point you already conceded. That aside, if you tell me precisely *what* you want a link to, I’ll be happy to oblige.
So the CBA tells the teams how to negotiate the terms of all their players contracts?

Maybe they do, but I doubt it. To be honest with you, I don't know facts like that.

Do you?

If that's the way it is, it's pretty stupid. And I certainly don't know the CBA rules. I was hoping you had some kind of link to prove your point.

I don't think every contract is cut anddry.

With Antonio Brown's history, I'm sure they had some considerations in there for that. They've been down this road before

Seems odd that the NFL would have approved a contract with provisions that contravened the CBA.

#84 is now available.

Just saying.

Won’t happen. Kraft needs the $4.5m to pay off Florida not to leak his video.
That would be $4.5M - $15
Early Bird Bob will insist on the discount.

Bring him back for a game and cut him again.

He is AB-solutely correct. He should apologize to the chick and settle up and then the pats should take him back!! They're on the hook for 9m either way.

Free AB. AB-Solutely the right thing for this offense.

Re-sign him. Let the league suspend him for 6 games. Have him for stretch run and playoffs. Perfect!

Note to bb- please bring Antonio brown back and give him #84 and put him on the field ASAP!

Note to kraft - two for one specials at the dragon lady spa in Miami, please feel free to hang out there for the next 18 weeks while we go off and win another super bowl with brown in the line up.

He’s going to look good wearing #84 for the Pats again.

I pretty much never post in these threads, because, really, what’s the point? But damn, the Patriots’ offense would be SO much better with him in the lineup.

This may be Erica Leigh’s father-in-law but I’m going to pretend that it’s totally legit.

Anyone know what Sharks of Vegas is saying about all this?
