Unless the Pats resigned Scott Sisson, chances are things will work out... can't really be that much worse than what we were getting from Gostkowski this year ... So some people called it early that there was something wrong with the kicking game ... That was proven out and now we are getting all these types of buttsore posts...

and as an FYI, nobody wants/wanted Gostkowski to miss multiple kicks ... Everybody would have been much happier if he was doing a better job

Got to wonder if the defend Gostkowski at all cost crowd is hoping and praying for a missed kick... strike that, based on the above, I know they are ... just waiting/wanting to blow up the boards with "I told you so" posts ... its pathetic

They did inquire. I respectfully declined, telling them I thought Mike Nugent would be their best choice under the circumstances.

I'm glad you're already outraged by the imaginary behavior you've just made up. I'm sure your reaction to any opinions on the matter going forward will be carefully measured and objective.

Hope so, but there's no guarantee he'll be back, right? I could see BB drafting someone to st least provide competition...

There is never a guarantee but it is damn hard to find a good kicker. And even harder one that can upgrade on Ghost.

I mean if BB can identify a prospect that sets up the Pats for another decade+ of excellent kicking.. all the better.

Tavecchio seems the most game-ready of the group...Folk hasn't really been active the past two years...never heard of the others....Tavecchio & Kai Forbath are the names I would keep at the top of the rolodex if/when Ted Nugent starts costing us games.

The strategy should be as follows:
