With that being said, though, why would the Patriots feel like Richards can improve their special teams units? A look at the numbers might give us a clue. While New England ranks a solid 15th in yards surrendered per punt return (6.4), the team is only 28th in the same category as it relates to kickoff runbacks: the five kickoffs that were returned against the Patriots gained an average of 30.6 yards.

I know these jokes are funny...but I’m finding it hard to laugh. Jordan Richards should never play Defense again...ever...under any circumstance unless it’s for another team. It’s all good if he plays only ST though.

I suppose if he was a coach he could show players how not to tackle.

It's really hard to like this move unless it is strictly for ST. And even then I have trouble with it.
From what I saw, Richards simply does not have the athletic ability to be competitive.
BB knows far more about talent and the game than I ever will but this is a real head-scratcher.

The Pats kickoff return coverage has stunk. This move is to try to help that. Richards won’t play any more on D than Ebner will/would unless a barrage of injuries occur.

For his sake I hope Jordan doesn’t follow this site

Its on YouTube I'm sure. He dove at JuJu on the sideline and forced a NEP defender to jump around him thus also missing the tackle.
