Jordan Richards signed

+1 he’s like having another coach out there on the field.

That's true - he has a 40 time and cover skills similar to Dante Scarnecchia and tackles like BB.

he’s a “veteran”?

he has "experience".

Oh wait. That's what BB just said. BB also said he thinks we might have a role for us. He didn't add "possibly" and "potentially" to the sentence.

Belichick confirms the Patriots signed Jordan Richards. "We think he might have a role for us... he has a experienced. He's a smart kid... We'll see.

Nothing says "title defense" like rostering Jordan Richards. Worked well in 2015 and 2017. The missing piece.

Regards,
Chris

The two people downing your post clearly missed the sarcasm... *SMH*

ST only, please...
If Gilmore does not stop talking to the media, he will be benched against the Chiefs and Richards will take his place. This of course will be " the best decision for the team". Who was the other clown? Bladamossi? Please don't correct any mispelling. Thank you.

What does this say about Melifonwu, Munson and Brooks that BB was willing to bring Richards back instead of promoting them???

plot twist: he’s temporarily relieving gost of fg duty since hes from same school as bailey

Come on, don’t we need a guy who can let receivers get 5 yds of separation?

Probably that they don't think they're any great shakes on ST.

why is there a freakout? I don't get it, I really don't.

Our special teams suck and it's not just because of Ghost. We need help, a shot in the arm like with Humber and McClellan last year. I hope Richards can provide a spark there.

The fear is that BB has him playing meaningful snaps on defense. This dude, Rowe, and Bademosi single handedly lost SB 52.

I get it.

Great locker room presence, can talk to Bret Bielema about the Stanford potential coaching job now that David Shaw is having a rough season, and will wipe that deer in the headlights look off Jakobi Meyers’s face as he easily beats Richards time and again in practice.

Chess, fellas. Stop with the checkers.

Only two explanations are:

a.) STs help (specifically KR coverage).
b.) someone like Harmon, or possibly Chung (latter seems less likely), is getting traded and this signing provides DB depth, with Richards hopefully never having to actually play.

Seems very likely to be 'a' given the context.

Why would the Patriots trade Harmon or Chung? It doesn't free up cap space.

If there's three names, there's nothing "single-handed" about it.

Okay. Well these three were a major reason for the loss.

This signing makes zero sense. There's no way BB could possibly think Richards adds anything to the defense. Having him play meaningful snaps would make the defense worse.

why fear? There is not even playing time available.

Anyone have a chalkboard for me to scratch?
