Thanks to DWToys for providing a least a semblance of sanity for those who feel the CONTINUAL need for adding more WR's. If you are looking for more quickness and separation, Higgins would be at least a more realistic kind of addition. But in a way his description sounds a lot like Meridith, who we already have.

I agree that it is not worth giving up a first but I’d love to have Diggs on the team. Right now our depth is not good.

As you mentioned in another thread, you thought the pass protection was solid last game. Which means Brady needs to play better than he did and that means we need a good receiver who can get open. Diggs provides it at the right price.

Stephon Diggs to trade to the Pats pending due to contract...look, whoever this guy is, he called the Minkah Fitzpatrick trade a week before it even happened. Which he received from his reliable source. And, also, Adam Schefter and Jeremy Fowler from ESPN both denied the trade rumors.

No offense to our guys off the street and Wynn who has been here two years with two significant injuries, but Willimas helps our WR corps with a better run game. Trent Brown did a good job on the run last year.
Williams would help Brady for a few more seconds to connect of some plays.
I see Wynn as our swing guy until he gets healthy for a full game of snaps. Maybe Wynn is an upgrade at Center too.
Cannon is dinged up as well. Cannon has only had 2 16 game season in the nine he has been here.

Does anyone else find the NFL salary cap both mind numbingly complex and confusing and boring at the same time? I hate the topic but I imagine it has some real world implications. It just seems as a dummy looking in from the outside that they can play games with the numbers and restructure people/add fake years at the end (per Felger and Mazz rantings) and make it work most of the time.

Anyone who actually understands the cap can we add a guy like this? Are we still on the hook for AB against the cap?

William's would be preferable to any WR but his contract would remain a roadblock. With Diggs there is the sense he wants to go to a winner and perhaps be willing to take a short term paycut.
