I believe this is the week he returns from his four-game suspension. I'd have to say the timing is certainly a good thing and could potentially turn the tide a bit for the offense. I guess the only question might be his conditioning, along with how he's recovered from the concussion he suffered in the preseason.

We'll see if Watson is activated from the Reserve/Suspended list and if the Pats make a move with LaCosse, Izzo, or Kessler..

I gather he has been working out and running routes with *someone* or *anyone*...

He can't hurt to have back, and it helps that he has some experience playing with Brady and is a passable blocker.

I'd try to get LaCosse blocking at a half-decent level and trot him and Watson out at TE for the time being. Those two have shown to be capable receivers from the TE position and could give the offense a boost and some balance.

Izzo is strictly a blocker, and not a very good one at that. Don't want to see him on the field moving forward.

Yeah Ryan Izzo is JAG and not even a serviceable one the guy whiffs on everything. At-least LaCosse gets in the way some nice would be trip to spring Gordon loose yesterday.

Great, I gathered that someone was you. Now I'm worried

While I welcome the return of Watson, I think it’s asking a LOT for him to be some kind of saviour here. There are things to improve on O and hopefully Watson plays a role. My gut : he will play a very small role in “turning this around”. Bigger issues concern me (RB/OL) and if those aren’t improved upon, Watson alone can’t change the entire look.

Can’t imagine he wouldn’t be.

I can't believe I'm saying this but once he is healthy I think they need to pick up Dwayne Allen and waive Izzo.

I wouldn't say a savior by any means, but at least another decent blocker and passing threat to take some of the pressure off of the other guys. I think most of the issues Sunday stemmed from the fact the offensive line had a really tough time with the Bills' defense and they pinned their ears back after the offense was in 3rd-or-8 or longer on 11 of their 18 third down attempts. I think a lack of any tight end production has hurt them a bit and if Watson can provide them with the same production we saw in the preseason, that certainly wouldn't be a bad thing.

He may outproduce our TE season production in one game.

It should be helpful to have him back Not the solution by himself but he upgrades our TE depth chart. No doubt the best pass catching TE we have now.

He’s got the ability to go 4catches fir 50 yards and a TD in any given game, and right now that’s a welcome upgrade

Watson is a viable threat. Izzo or LaCosse, not so much.

They should try to get Izzo to the PS and keep LaCosse until Gronk returns (joking, kind of).

The O-line will improve, mark my words... Dante just needs more time to...

...crunch the numbers. ;)

We only need Watson to be a decent blocker and to keep the defense honest in the passing game. I don't think the Bills bothered much with Izzo and LaCosse yesterday.

Watson just needs to stay healthy and not suck.
