Chiefs are the luckiest team

Oh well. They will have at least 4 losses. That defense sucks

We just won the game from a blocked punt returned for a TD. Let’s not call the Chiefs lucky. Pot, kettle, black, etc

Lol leading a game winning drive against a 3-0 team on the road is luck.

felt like the Tennessee game all around. Gilmore getting beat, Brady terrible. We somehow won.

They win today. They lost that game last year in Tennessee. The Bills of 2019 are a much better team than Jacksonville, Tennessee or Detroit of last year. This was the a great win for the Patriots.

This is the kind of game they probably couldn’t win last year. I like what they can do now on an off day.

NE was outgained by 150 yards today, knocked out the starting QB on a borderline cheap shot, and got a special teams TD. Plus McDermott crapped his pants going for it on 4th down in that situation. I think if you weren’t a Pats fan you’d be calling them lucky.

Or capable of winning when they have an off day against a hepped up team playing their own Super Bowl in front of their frenzied crowd.

Something they couldn’t do last Super Bowl winning year against crap teams in Jacksonville, Tennessee, Detroit and Miami.

How about some people actually try THINKING?

Play chess not checkers.

It's been a few years since Brady had the yearly WTF was that, 4 INT game. Maybe this is what his WTF game is now?

Was the poor Offensive performance that surprising? Maybe to the extent, but all the talk of Brady and several players upset over the AB release, the loss of Develin, Edelman playing hurt, still adjusting to a new center and playing a backup LT that has been on the team for two weeks or so.

With all that, they went on the road and beat an undefeated team. It's still the NFL there are no Mcsucky State's, hell even Miami played a competent half of football today and they are the closest thing to one.

Chiefs are not lucky, it's Matt P's defense being soft yet again for another week. Bend don't break loses the game.

It's interesting to read up on what teams spend on defense: NFL Defense Spending - Cap

It doesn't seem the Chiefs think they need defense to win a championship. Maybe they don't. But perhaps a bit more spending would be nice on defenders more talented than the cast of Little Giants.

I got lucky too because I picked KC in my survivor pool this week.

That offense still doesn’t have hill. Clearly they’re better than us right now offensively heck they have even done a good job running the ball. They have a bunch of weapons .

The lions flat out lost that game, kc did not win it.

The lions running back that fumbled on the goal line should be cut!

I don't understand? It's all very simple. Last week clearly proved we were an unbeatable O and D juggernaut. This week we've clearly been shown to have lots of problems from Brady and the O, Gilmore and the D. How is that not calm, rational thinking? :)

People, emotion is a poor substitute for rational thought (hellllooo.....echoooo.....echoooo). Today was an ugly W. Ugly W's happen. They are better than ugly L's. When is that last time a team in the modern NFL went 16 games without winning (or losing) some ugly ones? As the zen master said "you're never as bad as you think and never as good as you think". What good teams do, after an ugly game, is use it as valuable material to discover weaknesses you didn't realize you had, try to fix them, try to fix what you did ok to good but do better. The Patriots, IMHO, were given a good test today. Fortunately they came out with the W and hopefully they'll see what their weaknesses were in order to practice and gameplan against it being exposed even more. if they do that then they've passed an important stage in the season's progression. if they don't then more ugliness is to come. Nothing's guaranteed but my money is on the Patriots.
That is all, please return to your unbridled emotions.

Beating up on the winless Jets last week in Foxboro with their 3rd string QB and their best LB out “clearly proved ” unbeatability????? You might want to rethink that one. Yesterday’s opponent and location of game was the real thing. Last weeks wasn’t.

“Ugly games” are great for eval and pinpointing areas for improvement. They are especially impressive if experienced against a good team (Buffalo most certainly is) playing in front of its energized crowd when your team has several injured players out and your team can go through that type of grinder and win. Yesterday was the Patriots best win of the season. Your eval of the Jets game ‘proving our unbeatability’ however iS indeed just emotion.
