The Jonathan Jones hit wasn't dirty

Josh Allen himself wouldn’t say its a dirty hit. otoh, I heard his hc is out late shopping for diapers..

On SNF, Teddy Bridgewater just slid rather than try to barrel forth for a first down. The defender had a big hit lined up but relented once he saw Bridgewater was sliding. (Bridgewater was lobbying for a flag anyway, but the defender clearly let up). 4th down, kick a field goal, no one got hurt.

See? That's what's supposed to happen, Bills fans. If Teddy tried for the 1st down, they'd be carrying him off the field right now.

100% on Allen here. Why would the Patriots even want to knock him out of the game? He won it for us.

Allen is a runaway train in the open field at 6'5/235-240. That's a big QB in any era. Jones could've taken his knees out or lower half. That would be the obvious dirty cheap shot.

Instead & you can absolutely see this. Jones aims w his shoulder but Allen, who sees Jones coming. Gets a bit lower while protecting the ball w 2 hands. Bang, bang play. **** happens.

Not a dirty play. No bad intentions.

This is a dirty play(er)

Big, obvious difference as one can literally see w their own eyes.

Well what are we supposed to trust our lying eyes or the impartial and objective members of the esteemed Billdos forum?
i do believe that we're right in this case, but let's not forget we're the impartial and objective members of the esteemed pats forum

The initial Announcers shape so much of the convo , and these today were stupid

Fouts seems to be the voice of jealous resentment and despair for the rest of the AFC.

If CBS can't give us a Patriots-friendly announcer for our games, could they at least give us a neutral?

Dan Fouts called it the worst dirty hit he's ever seen in NFL history...so...uh...I go with "mashed pertaters" brain Fouts.

That was a completely BS call. If anything Allen should have been penalized for initiating contact with his helmet.

If that play had been officiated correctly, it would have either been a no-call or a call on Allen.

Y’all are just lame!

that was 100% a dirty hit because JJ should have had a pillow on him so Allen would have been fine.

The Bills fans are saying the opposite about Fouts.

The play was officiated correctly.

Helmet to helmet hit. Unintentional which is why there was no disqualification. Obvious because he doesnt even lead with his and turned his shoulder. But a strike to the head nonetheless. Unfortunate but thats how it is officiated in today’s game.

Why isn’t this helmet to helmet on Allen. He’s the one running with momentum and leading with helmet on a stationary and smaller target?

The Billdos sed wut?

It was a dumb and dangerous play, but I don’t think there was any intention. So I don’t think Allen deserves to be fined or suspended for initiating that hit.

This is the first time I got to see this. How on Earth does the crown of Josh Allen's helmet hitting the side of JJ's equal a dirty hit on JJ?

The funny thing is on the Bills forums they are claiming Fouts is a pro Patriots announcer. I had to scratch my head when I read that comment.

It took a while to get out there but that angle clearly shows Allen initiating the helmet to helmet contact.
I hope this grows legs this week and the media talks the Pat's up positively.

Here’s a novel idea for Josh Allen. If you don’t want to get lit up, slide.
