That was 27 years ago, chief. Nowadays he’s embarrassing himself by getting cheap rub and tugs, allowing his star QB to be railroaded by the NFL, and now (reportedly) stepping into BB’s affairs re: personnel decisions. Yes, I’m happy he never moved the franchise. No, that doesn’t buy him a lifetime of forgiveness for questionable (at best) decisions.

Yep the Pats have blown another season. I wish they'd pay more attention to patsfans.com so they'd learn a thing or two.

With the schedule, I personally see 11-5 as a likely record. But A.B had to go. His twitter tirades since being released prove it.
You think they’ll only go 8-5 from here on out?

Could the mods please close this thread? It's time to look ahead and not lag behind IMO.

Who said that?

Pats are the reigning champs, had a great draft/off-season, are scoring 35 points/game, are giving up SIX points/game ... but are suddenly in trouble because they cut a guy who played one game.

Never change, PatsFans.

I don’t know if I believe Kraft cut him loose, if they told AB to shut it and he kept pouring more fuel to the fire, I can’t imagine they could keep him much longer.

AB is an idiot and couldn’t control himself for 10 days as a Pat. Texting pics of someone’s kids in a group text, while demeaning them and asking people to dig up dirt on them a week after being signed for team known for being discreet and giving him “last chance”... This Brady and Bill wanted him stuff is sensational reporting and these guys likely have no inside info. I thought Brady still hated BB for liking JG better than him or for banning Guerrero, and now he is mad at Kraft. I wonder what story they will serve us tomorrow so we can be mad at someone else with Tom, because BB and TB tell these reporters all their feelings so we, fans, can get mad with them....

Not unexpected, but man, your streak of dumb just continues. Impressive. I wonder who the record holder is?

Merge this. Nothing new that comes out about Antonio Brown is going to be interesting enough to take up two spots on the main board. Let it fester in the thread that's approaching 1000 posts for every day Brown was on the team.

Who is saying they’re in trouble? They still have plenty to get back to, and win, the Super Bowl.

A 10 year Ringless Wonder. Played for a team with the most talent in the NFL. The last time they won a SB was the year before he was drafted.

He is the most talented WR on the face of the earth. His mental illness is the only thing holding him back.

The Rings.

Do you think Brady will be lost for the season against Buffalo or vs Washington or is it the entire O-line going down your crystal ball is showing you? Cause it's hard to look at that schedule through mine and see this team as currently constituted losing 5 games any other way.

1 If the Pats could ever draft 1 stud WR in 20 years you dont need AB. Instead, you get Chad Jackson and Harry K who goes out for 3 passes and lands on IR. Ridiculous.

2 AB was not going to change in NE. He is a pos clown.

3 Does anyone actually believe that AB wont be suspended at some point this year?

4 Do the Pats need anymore problems? May as well try out the Devil at WR.

5 Brady has gone nuts. Raising chickens behind a 10 million dollar estate, Avocados, drinking special water every time that you look at him. Hanging out with a spiritual adviser. Whats his name? Ben Dpak Chopra or something.

Brady was all-in on Brown. Which makes the Patriots decision to cut him puzzling. Reading more into it even BB didn't seem to be the one leading the charge to cut Brown. It seems it was Robert Kraft's doing. The owner pulled rank here.

Brown would still be a Patriot if Robert Kraft hadn't insisted. It's a shame we didn't get to see the greatest show on turf 2.0 featuring Brady to Brown. But from the owner's perspective i can see why he wanted to cut him purely for PR reasons rather than football reasons.

I agree, if ONLY they could have had a superstar WR, the last 20 years wouldn't have been such torture on us fans.........

I get it that you were being sarcastic - well played. But I think some folks actually believe that.

The AB fanboys were born yesterday.

The AB thread will go on for infamy.

In his memory.

Not you, personally, but so far I've seen predictions of 12-4, 11-5, and a bunch of pearl clutching.

Those pictures were sent to him by her. He only used them to make a point that she’s broke and hence doing a money grab. Are you being intentionally obtuse?

obtuse: lacking sharpness or quickness of sensibility or intellect

Except she wasn't looking for money and the pictures were pulled from instagram.
Irony abounds here at patsfans this lovely Fall morning.
