He is coming back

From your mouth to god's ears.

I would love for AB to come back. Lots of Pats players were upset when he was removed, especially Brady who has never come out and talked about and backed a player that was cut from the Pats the way he has about AB. And him repeatedly talking about it and liking and linking AB's social media posts just tells you this issue isn't going away and is still being discussed internally.

Here are some FACTS.
1. AB is healthy.
2. He is a force to be reckoned with and one of the best receivers of this generation
3. He materially improves our offense.
4. BB and Brady like winning championships above all else
5. AB wants to play for us at a price we can afford.

Holy crap. You read these facts and you still think a deal can't be done once this investigation stuff is settled? I bet once there is clarity on the investigation and it's buried and settled, the Pats and AB meet up to discuss the grievance filed for Pats not paying his $5m and in that grievance discuss and settle to a new number that both can agree for the remainder of the season and AB returns.

I think we'll find out soon as AB makes his return.

Tom won't be linking his posts and yapping about him to all media if something wasn't in the works. I bet Tom called AB to delete the stupid Kraft instagram post and AB needs to go apologize to Kraft personally.

such as the piranha tank nonsense, the furniture tossing, the woman with the injuries to her arm, the Pittsburgh locker room recording, the Oakland circus, and the multiple people claiming that he owes them money via unpaid bills.

I am deeply disturbed by all this stuff. I just donated some extra money to my local Piranha Conservation Society after I read this. Please tell me more.

I really hope he has a revelation and finds an ethical foundation, for both his sake, and for the sake of those around him.

He will. 2019 is not the story of AB's vilification. It's the story of AB's redemption. He will have a revelation and find an ethical foundation................. on this return to the Pats.

Hope so.

Guy is undoubtedly a nutcase, but I would bet my house that if those allegations never came out, he’d still be here and would be as quiet as a church mouse.

I hope for his sake they’re not true and he clears this all up. Then and only then he can come back and focus strictly on football.

But first the media firestorm needs to settle down.

I completely agree. His media answers during that one week were already very Pats-like and brief and concise. He'll be a good soldier once he rejoins.

Vet minimum (game-adjusted), non-guaranteed...for which he originally should've signed here
in the first feckin place.

It'll probably be the same $9m we promised him before but pro-rata. So if it takes 4-5 weeks for the NFL to clear him and he can rejoin week 7 or something he might get a $6m guaranteed for rest of season or something like that. I can live with that and I am sure Brady and BB can as well. He'll pick up the offense quick and we need him for the post-season.

At no point did I defend Klemko; I suggested that it's problematic for Brown to tacitly endorse death threats against him. It doesn't matter if Klemko had an unfavorable agenda (which is total speculation), that doesn't make it okay to send death threats his way.

I suspect the NFL will take their time making a decision because Brown will not be on an NFL roster for the foreseeable future.

Yeah. Foreseeable future being next 3-4 weeks before the NFL decides all these allegations are nonsense. And then he'll be back doing what he has been doing all his career, catching passes from a HoF QB.

So much for this thread fizzling out. I think it's just gathering steam if AB rejoins. This will go to 2000 pages.

Judging by your 8 consecutive posts, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that this is a pretty obvious job of trolling. The team just refused to pay him a total of 9m (guaranteed) dollars and is hunkering down for a battle of the contract language. Neither side is going to be open to your suggestion.

I thought it was funny the Monday after he was released they were on ESPN saying how everyone loves a good comeback story and how what he tweeted about Kraft was true. So funny how they change their tune once he wasn't a patriot anymore.

500k per game no signing bonus ... I really want to see the beat writers mad again. Bunch of people full of sh*t. We don't know what happened and they are treating him like a criminal from day 1.

IF he wants to come back ... IF Kraft wants ... It is a win win situation

1) He will be not subject to any discipline anymore
2) He will help our team because he is a top 3 WR
3) He will stay away from teams like KC ...

I do not want him back.

Might want to check your sources on this, it was reported by a a reporter (Volin??) that some unnamed anonymous players allegedly said this.. there is no way of verifying this information.. read what Brady said and can't find a source where Brady was more of less upset than anyone else.. Brady is a gentleman and that is how I viewed it...

"Lots of Pats Players" is a tad vague..

AB could have resurrected his career here and gotten a really big pay day for playing the game and keeping his nose clean off the field, then he started to do some weird stuff on Twitter.. that was the proverbial straw. At best AB is a guy with an over inflated ego who seems to believe that despite being advise of what not do to, will do it anyway..

I do not want him back.
This guy may not even play until 2020, as we’re headed into week four and I’m expecting another several weeks before the NFL completes its investigation.

Drew Rosenhaus confirms interest in Antonio Brown, downplays retirement possibility
“Because of the pending investigation by the NFL, I can’t say much more than what I have. It’s of course unfortunate that Antonio was released by the Patriots. We wanted very much to make that work, but we’re moving on,” Rosenhaus said. “I believe that Antonio wants to continue his career in the NFL and I’ve mentioned that. I have had discussions with a few teams that are very interested in him and want to know about his future and what’s going on with the NFL. Hopefully, when that is all resolved, Antonio will be able to continue his Hall of Fame career. That’s really where our focus is.”

No way he would have or will accept that.

You left out 6 which negates 1-5
6 he is a douchebag who cares only about himself and not about winning or the team.

Vintage captain here.

Complaining that BB was not able to sign AB to a non-guaranteed, vet minimum deal.
