I somewhat agree but that game is way in December! There's so much that can happen before then!

You gotta be happy that the Browns went with the Freddie Kitchens show to waste a pretty good situation in terms of roster, cap space and good and young QB on his rookie deal.

They went from Hue Jackson and consistently drafting at the top to an even worse state where they might end up winning enough games to draft in the teens without ever really being a serious threat.

Chiefs could very well be undefeated by December 8th too. I don't see a loss on their schedule.

Their defense will let them down at least once. Book it.

Chiefs are our toughest opponent I'm sure, but I have no doubt in my mind that we can beat them. We have the more complete team and the better coach

They might have the best QB which makes up for a lot. But I do believe we would beat them by a TD.

I think having BB and Josh almost cancels out the Mahomes advantage. Josh is an OC so more BB. BB coached teams have beaten so many "other-worldly" offenses over the years (see Rams in 2001, Colts in 2003 and 2004, Falcons in 2016, Chiefs in 2018). We don't have Gronk this year, but I believe our defense improved. So much can happen between now and December though, so we'll see what happens. Might see them twice this year

It will be difficult still. Mahomes is playing like a god. He scans the whole field instantly and can make every throw. His receivers are really good as well. I hope we can keep him rather quiet for 1 half and build a lead. That said defense wins championships and I could see us beating KC something along the lines of 28-21, 31-24.

We shut OBJ down (except for a long TD very early) with Butler 1 on 1 in 2015, so one of our non-Gilmore corners might be up to the task.

I agree with your assessment. The strategy will likely be similar to last year, limit their possessions. What's the early thought on KC's defense?

Yup. We really need to get our running game going by then. KC's defense looks like what everyone thought about them. They will take the ball away a couple of times but their coverage is bad as is their run defense. Overall still poor.
