Definitely willing to eat some crow on Bennett. Didn't realize he's on tracking for 10 sacks -- that's good to know.

To my eye test he doesn't appear to be fitting into the greater overall scheme of stunting. He seems to be more comfortable as an individual pass-rusher. I could be entirely wrong in my analysis, just a layman.

I'll be curious to see how his play develops over the course of the season as he gets more comfortable and familiar within the scheme. They've been using him almost exclusively on the interior in pass-rushing situations; would love to see him on the edge, too.

No disrespect, but what's to mention? He was with his baby being delivered. This type of game likely plays out the exact same way if he's in there. The Jete suck. LOL
First it was Van Noy missing a game for a baby, now White. This is more concerning than the injuries and AB. How many Pat wives are pregnant? Is Gisele? Is she expecting around the beginning of February?

Disagree, having a couple of those quick trigger guys has always been key for Brady, with White out it was only Edelman, and then he got hurt. So I think White could’ve made a difference.

I actually think they could have used Meyers that way.. His breaks were near Squirrel-esque. I think it's just a matter of Brady getting used to him. Much the way Brady has gotten used to Dorsett.

I get people being upset at Stidham throwing the pick six by WTF was he throwing? I don’t care if the handed the ball off to Sony three times for zero yards then punt. The jets weren’t going to move the ball on offense. That’s what they should have done.

Bad play calling, than a poor decision by the backup QB
He was throwing because he was in there to get experience .

What had me slightly disappointed in the offense is that lack of variety. Especially after Edelman went out.

Very disappointed they didn't use Johnson on offense. Would have loved to have seen him lead the way for Sony on a couple of occasions, especially later in the game. Johnson saw time on Special Teams and on the victory formation.

Why dress Harris if you aren't going to give him any touches?

They really need to get Sony involved in the passing game. He showed (to many of us) in pre-season that he could handle it effectively. That would make him that much more dynamic and really help sell the Play-Action even more than they already do.

Newhouse seemed more comfortable at LT this week in pass protection. He's not the monster that Wynn is in the running game though. And it shows..

Is it me or does it seem like there is something wrong with Shaq Mason. Another week and another bull rush that takes him back into the pocket.. And running to the Right side doesn't seem as effective..

The refs blew the call on the Dorsett Review.. That was clearly a catch, especially looking at it from the QB perspective..

Glad to hear that the injuries today seem to be minor, overall..

He said later he was not prepared to go into the game. That's the job of a backup QB...
Are you being serious? No Fkin way. Jesus, its worse than I thought.

Vegas just released spreads for next week. Jets are +6, underdogs to the Bye.

He didn’t say that..

He said “I wasn’t really expecting it at the time , I was ready for it they said get in so that’s what I did”
Good post and you are correct!

Where did he say this?
A lot of people taking out of context . See video below....basically he is saying that him coming in during game wasn’t in the game plan obviously but we was Ready and prepared. He made one bad read there....he is a rookie and has a lot to learn ...time will tell if he will be future Pats starter...,

For what it’s worth- Hightower didn’t seem to be in any discomfort after he went out, stood on the sideline watching the game til’ the finish, jumped up & down at one point- talking to teammates etc etc..
Due to all the noise & everything, I didn’t even know he was hurt, I wondered why he was hanging out holding his helmet.

And now he's back to missing XPs. Of all the NFL kickers, except Vinatieri, he's missed the most XPs this year. These are not difficult kicks for an NFL kicker, particularly for an elite one like him.
It's the new guys fault.

@Ian In the picture in my signature too big. If so, let me know. I can change it.

It's the new guys fault.

Thst doesn't explain why he's been great on FGs this year (6/7)...unless the holder/snapper on FGs is different.
