Oh please. Something can totally be intimidating and legitimately fear-causing without meeting the statutory elements of the crime of stalking or whatever.

Say your daughter is in a dispute with some crazy rich guy and he sends her a text with pictures of her kids and instructions to his shady flunkies to dig up dirt on her. Your daughter is freaked out and talks to a lawyer who tells her that it doesn’t meet the definition of a crime so there’s nothing the cops can do. Are you seriously going to tell your daughter - “it’s ok, honey. The cops said it didn’t meet the definition of a crime, so you’d be silly to worry about it. After all, if it’s not a crime it can’t possibly be intimidating at all. Your fears are totally meaningless and everything is cool.”

I meant our conference. The AFC east.

Maybe by clear definition it wasnt a threat, but it definitely was harassment.

But the main point is that it has been 11 days and despite Bill telling him to keep quiet and let the lawsuit handle itself he went out of his way to disobey Bill and text an accuser pictures of her kids.

If he cant shut up for 11 days, how is he going to do it for 3 months? There would be more distractions, believe me! You dont get released by two teams in 2 weeks unless you are a head case. Bill thought after losing out on 30million guaranteed he would be humble and fall in line. He was wrong. Guy cant help himself. No one player is larger than the team.

People harp on gordon for falling off the wagon last year but at least he made it like 11 games with no issues.

No. The Browns were all hype. The Browns have to play the Rams and then the Ravens. I think they are staring down 1-3 and the narrative on them will change drastically. **** with Seattle and us coming up they might be 2-5 by week 8 or worse. Is an upset possible? Sure.

But realistically this is the best defense we've had top to bottom since the early 2000's and it's going to make a strong push to be considered at the top of the list. We beat the Chiefs twice last year, we have a better defense and offense than when we swept them last year. The Cowboys and Eagles are probably the deepest teams we play (imo the Cowboys being the best) but we have a good enough defenses to stack the box on Zeke and our secondary can handle what they have imo.

This is a really good team. I wouldn't undersell it.

Nothing in there is a threat.
Where do you suppose he got the pictures.
You are sensationalizing the facts to make it look how you want.

He felt it was a money grab. He texted with his friend that she is broke and texted pictures of HER AND her kids to show that. He felt she was going to sue him so he told his friend they should dig up dirt in her.
Digging up dirt is not a threatening act.
Texting pictures of a person and their kids that said person GAVE YOU ACCESS TO is not a threatening act.

I get it, you think its clear cut intimidation..I see AB for what he is..a not so smart person. He wants to prove that the artist is lying and just wants $$$. He wants to show that she is broke. Says that we should check into her background to see if she is hurting financially. He texts a pic of her and her kids together(wasn't just her kids as some are suggesting) to show that they are poor.

People it seems are not looking at this. Even her lawyer said it was not a threat. The nfl will investigate this and if they suspend him idk if brown will appeal but if they didn’t suspend hill over what he did than why should brown be suspended? In the end i feel he gets cleared.

This is the point I've been trying to explain (not here) this whole time but nobody wanted to hear it. He was humiliating her if anything, not threatening her

I don't know if his followers on instagram are being true with the positive encouragement some of them give him to continue be himself. He believes he is being persecuted and he has not done anything wrong.

Exactly this.

For one second let's just ignore the actual content. His employer, the overall league, and his cousel all told him not to contact this woman. Not only did he contact this woman, he brought multiple of his friends in to the text chain so they could all engage with her at once.

That by itself is intimidating before you go into some of the dumb stuff he said. It probably doesn't meet any legal definitions or it would be a very grey area case because he was vague enough in what he did. But it was definitley intimindating and harrassment.
