Antonio Brown

We're going to sign that free agent kicker who never misses up to 70 yards and whose kicks always go straight down the middle.

They’re not going 14-2. I see more 12-4 or 13-3 which is pretty sweet. I worry about the offense finishing drives and red zone offense. They where 0-4 in the red zone against the Steelers.

I don't recall if Gordon's TD was from inside the 20, but it was very close. That's just cherry-picking a stat from a game we won 33-3 and calling for trouble. I'm not saying you're wrong about the Pats eventual record, but given the way the schedule lines up, we're going to start 8-0, with the first real test in Baltimore.

Klemco's exact words why the artist didn't go to the police after the text messages.
"her lawyers felt that her best course because they weren't sure this met the classic definition of stalking or intimidation.. felt her best course immediately was to reach out to the NFL to get this to stop because the NFL seems to be the only entity that holds sway over Antonio Brown right now"
Her lawyers were 100% right. What’s the problem with that?

Sounds like her lawyers made the right call.

If Brown plays again the outcome will be the same as it has been. He will continue to act out in the same ways he has been acting out. He’s a malignant narcissist who will never accept responsibility and never change his behavior. He’s lost about 40 million over the past month because of his behavior and yet sees no need to change it, that’s classic narcissism.

The guy’s an a-hole but he’s talented player. You think bill was worried about that? Lol . He took a chance on the guy.

Obviously not, but the attorney is being technical, whereas anyone else can see it for what it was intended to do. Those who can’t are idiots. I’m sure if someone did this to your daughter you would tell her that it’s not a threat.
so those that disagree with are idiots..Ok then. You must never have many discussions about anything then unless everyone agrees with your point of view

I think buffalo and Cleveland could be a challenge but who knows. We shall see. Any given Sunday. One game at a time.

Being talented doesn’t make you a winner, and the Steelers has both Bell and Brown and win nothing. And when their season was on the line he walked out on them. You can have those kinds of players, I want nothing to do with them.

We have had players like that before on this team. Again these are all accusations.

nothing...just pointing out that her lawyers weren't sure the texts met the classic definition of intimidation, yet some here think anyone who doesn't see the texts as clear cut intimidation are idiots.

Then it wasn’t stalking or intimidation. What a crock. If the cops won’t touch it, wtf are the white knights here and in the media doing? The Pats were an unstoppable offensive wagon and the league said no way no how. Or rather, as I illustrated pages ago, the Hunts and Jerrah in my opinion smell to high heaven with this. Maybe a call to Krafty and that was that.

So DA and cops find nothing in one case. Other person conveniently comes out with another allegation. These are the only possible criminal charges to be had. The rest is civil, small claims court BS that a ton of people deal with.

People, if nothing criminal comes out of this, are going to look really bad. That includes the media, team, white knights and fans in general who bought this stuff hook line and sinker. Of course nobody will care, just another brick in the wall right?

Brown’s texting wasn’t an accusation, it’s a fact. Most here allowed for the accusations, and were willing to allow it to play out, but the bullying and intimidation made clear that he doesn’t belong in the league.

He is wrong to insult you personally, but if you're still defending AB, a guy who has been kicked off of 3 different teams in under a year, you should perhaps try to see the other side of the ball on this one.
Honestly I don't care about AB. I never thought the Pats would sign him to begin with and said so on previous threads. I saw him play and got excited over TB having an MVP year. I always felt we should let the civil matter play out and posted that as well. I thought the texts were completely stupid and was not surprised when he was let go.

I'm frankly sick of this AB crap and was hoping this thread was shut down, so I tried to purposely be controversial, but it didnt work. I'll just put this thread on ignore once I figure out how to do it.

To Ivan, I apologize for being a ****. I didn't mean most of what I posted. I'm usually just joking around here but somehow I let this whole story suck me in.

I'm out.

One game bro. The reality is they won't face significant competition until week 9 at the earliest.

The only real dangerous teams barring a massive upset are the

1. Ravens
2. Eagles
3. Cowboys
4. Chiefs.

I can't see them losing all 4

Cops have the burden of proving beyond a reasonable doubt. Media, FANS, owners and the league have no such burden. Whether you like it or not, the court of public opinion is a very real thing and the league is naturally sensitive to that, as are the Pats.

So you think we go undefeated in the conference? You wouldn’t put the browns in there?

You’re right, truly ignorant people would not think it was a threat, everyone else would see it for what it clearly is.
Yeah ignorant people like her lawyer and the police
Sorry we aren’t all so woke as you that we can’t insert made up words, and pretend intention to take anything anyone does and turn it into an assault on whoever we feel we want to say was assaulted. It’s truly a gift.

so AB assistants have to call him sir? lol

Don’t forget the sensationalizing by the media.
As soon as the report came out it was reported as “Brown threatening an accuser”. Most people don’t read beyond the medias description.
People also think he posted pictures of her kids on the internet (implying he didn’t have the tacit permission SHE gave by making the public) and encouraged someone to do something to them.
Facts be damned someone somewhere may have offended someone.
