For all the posters that hated AB, think he is a POS, and are happy he got released, you were right, now let it go so we can put this sordid affair and multiple threads to rest. Let's move on to football, the OL, lack of running game, Devlin being out, etc.

What’s the fun in that? We need whipping posts around here to hate on. It’s just part of our nature

It is what it is. Would've been nice to have antonio brown the player, but he couldn't even last two weeks without slipping up!

Does anyone think he would've lasted until January?

I just want to be spared the cluelessness (hopefully that’s all it is) of the “Well, she already had those pix on social media so he didn’t do anything wrong putting them in the texts” people.

The problem isn’t that the pictures were available on social media.

The problem is that Brown took the effort to go grab a copy and include them in a group text, including the kids’ mother, that was sent to some of his flunkies (one an ex-con) telling them to go dig up stuff on her. If that is not an outright veiled threat it certainly can reasonably be interpreted as one.

I’d love to know how many of you keyboard warriors would really sit back and say “ah, no big deal” if someone you had a dispute with sent you a text with pictures of your kids and instructions to other people in the text to dig up dirt on you.
Well, I respect your opinion, but I think it's obvious that AB sent those pics to show she was broke. He explicitly states so. It was disgusting, yes, but not threatening IMO. He's not a smart man, so trying to dig deeper into his thought process would be futile.

Y’all defending AB look like a buncha clowns now
But for those that defended due process, we’re all good Joey!!

Besides, no one here is convinced he’s guilty of anything other than being a walking drama queen

After all, accusations are meaningless until proven in court. Otherwise, everyone just has their opinion

I think if he survived the lawsuit, he would have had a better chance of surviving than Gordon has. Without Gronk, I'm worried what the receiver position will look like come playoff time.

Telling his ex con friend to “ go investigate her” is absolutely a threat.

I’m not, I would rather have them fail to win the Lombardi than win it by keeping Brown around.

To be fair, gronk was a shell of himself last year. His biggest assets were his blocking, and his ability to pull some old gronk magic out of his hat when needed.

we are somehow putting more faith that AB would last the whole year and that Gordon has no chance to. Gordon seems to be in a good place right not mentally, let's worry about it if it gets to that point?

How is that a threat..seriously?. Looking at her financial background to see if she might be wanting $$$ from AB is not a threat IMO. If checking on someone's background is a threat, then most business people are in trouble.

A wealthy athlete telling his ex con buddy to “ go investigate her” is absolutely a threat, if you can’t see that you are too f.cking dense to discuss it with. Which your latest post actually proved.

For one thing, we can't now and couldn't then afford to be "a little poorer in cash" as in precious salary cap space...that space needed to be saved for somebody who could've Actually helped us, such as Trent Williams, a professional Backup Center, and whichever TE might be on the block before the trade deadline.

So No it isn't "not a big deal"...it's a very big deal, possibly a season-ending one if we can't afford help if/when it becomes available.
Captain “We’ll never make it” Stone:D

It turns out Klitco hired Rudy Giuliani to turn up dirt on AB. All along I thought it was Rudy who turned up the painters kids pics over to AB. Rudy is not such a bad guy after all.

When people who aren’t trying to threaten someone check on someone’s background they just do it. They don’t loop the person in on a text where they send a picture of the person’s kids to their shady flunkies.

If by “ effective” you mean damaging everything they touch you would be right.
Ok..now I see where you are coming from...typical

I feel like people here would still find a way to defend AB if we had proof he raped her.

Right on the money.
