He was not cut by the Pats because of Brittany Taylor.

Pay attention.

.
Um....yes she was. Once her story got out, SI smelled blood and released the piece about the painting incident. That caused him to go after the artist. The media was already all over the Pats regarding Brittany Taylor.

Pay attention.

So many jokes. I'll take the high road though.

Hey at least this is great for Gordon. Seeing the train wreck that is AB, may really make Gordon realize he needs to take advantage of his opportunity.

Are you really a jets fan?

Awesome, now we have plenty of cash to pay Gronk when he comes out of retirement in a few weeks :)

So how does this work? Do we owe him money? What's the salary cap implication?

Can anyone definitely answer these boring questions? Or are all the articles out there just musings about how a great talent went to waste due to madness and stupidity?

The team was an offsides call away from almost certain defeat. So the notion that losing the player who was the addition to offset the Gronk loss might be a very bad thing should not be farfetched to anyone.

Jules was superman in that game. Don’t know why the chiefs didn’t double him. Let someone else beat you. Typical andy reid.

So this morning... update my phone to the new #iOS13 & got this! :D

trudeau is finished.jpg

They did release him, right? Right? :p

I'm here "vaping" out of control, to what's coming tomorrow. :eek:I'm freaking out! :D AB emojis FTW!?

Antonio Brown, since OAK trade:

-Cryotherapy burns
-Helmet grievances
-Fine letter
-Gruden phone video
-Asks Raiders for release
-Fined for detrimental conduct
-Released

-Signed by NE
-Sexual assault accusations
-Plays vs MIA
-Loses Nike deal
-Intimidation allegations
-Released

TBR: "Huh? All I see are a bunch of accusations listed there after Belichick signed him. That's all. Nothing indicating a blown chance. Unless you think someone leaking private text messages and having the media editorialize them is a blown chance.

- No "try" needed. You're doing all the work, Skippy.

What are you on? Belichick signed Brown in spite of what occurred pre-Patriots. Those incidents have absolutely nothing to do with his release or "one more chance" like you implied.

Thanks for the explain RainMaker. I read very very little of the sports media as was seen on the previous posts of mine :).

So she hasn't filed criminal charges (for what she would I don't exactly know) and she hasn't filed a civil suit, and (correct me if I'm wrong :)) the texts did not directly state a threat, her motivation was just about publicizing his boorish behavior (for a lack of a better phrase) and not a precursor to a lawsuit?
The whole thing is pretty surreal. But it still comes back to, in part, AB must know he's under a microscope and must be very careful about what he puts in ink, pencil, keyboard, or on video. The media sharks were circling before but now it's a feeding frenzy.
It was a dumb thing AB did. Ruben Foster had the same fate. 9ers asked him to cut off commutation with that crazy woman, yet the team found out she was at the team hotel. I still think these “intimidating” texts were a cop out for the Pats as it was getting too hot in the kitchen for them.

Shefter was on the radio today and said it was a culmination of everything. Some in the organization didn’t even want to sign him and then when they do the next day they are blindsided by the rape allegations. The relationship is off to a bad start right away, then the SI article, Pats win 2 blowouts and all the talk is about Brown, and now he texts the lady in the SI article after being told no contact and to lay low. Enough was enough.

You think he plays this year again?

Hahaha!!!! That’s precious. The Brittany Taylor story forced AB to go after the painter in a group text??????

You are a great source of entertainment.

Not until the civil suit comes to a close.

Since nobody has given us information about any additional incidents, the current evidence indicates that the trigger seems to have been a post-practice meeting between Mr. Giggles and Mr. Happy Ending, where Mr. Happy Ending expressed his displeasure about a new hire. Perhaps Mr. Happy Ending felt that said new hire, Mr. Big Chest, was bringing too much negative publicity to the team he's represented so well and discreetly, recently, as owner.

You completely skipped the middle of my response.

Re-read it and try again.
