"If only BB could've given him once more chance!"

.

Huh? All I see are a bunch of accusations listed there after Belichick signed him. That's all. Nothing indicating a blown chance. Unless you think someone leaking private text messages and having the media editorialize them is a blown chance.

Um you said this was not the accuser in a lawsuit, no? So who was the text recipient and why is a legal thing? Seems a pretty straight forward question so I'm not getting the emoticon...

The artist does not have a suit filed against Brown

You stated the woman he texted is not the one suing him. From Mike Reiss: "News story: Patriots release WR Antonio Brown, with text messages to artist". (Reiss is one of the few I trust).

The artist is one of the known lawsuits against AB. So unless this is another "artist" other than the precipitously placed towel incident, your post is factually incorrect.
Yes, he sent texts to the artist. Why he did it, who knows? But, she wasn’t going after him. Brittany Taylor is the only one after him.

Wow, you're like one of those Japanese soldiers on the desert islands in the late 1950's who hadn't heard WW2 had ended and were still holding out.

The first 7 items on that list occurred BEFORE the Pats signed him.

I have no idea what you are trying to convey by: "All I see are a bunch of accusations listed there after Belichick signed him. That's all."

but it's entertaining.

I had a bad feeling something was up when BB cut his press conference short today. All press conferences were going to be about Brown and the Pats don’t want to deal with it anymore.

You hated AB from the start, we get it.

Try again. Not an argument.

Jeff Howe at The Athletic is reporting Kraft was "enraged" enraged by Brown's latest antics leading to the decision to cut Brown.

How Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick arrived at decision to...

"Patriots owner Robert Kraft and head coach Bill Belichick jointly determined Friday that wide receiver Antonio Brown had overstayed his welcome.

Kraft, who was on a business trip, became enraged* Friday when he heard the details of Brown’s most recently reported incident of text messaging harassment of a former female acquaintance. Kraft and Belichick spoke and decided together to officially release Brown just 11 days after the Patriots signed the controversial star receiver, according to sources."

*Emphasis added
Over texts? Lmao, Kraft hasn't been the same since quitting the Asian spas. He needs to find a less embarrassing way of getting his bjs.

Yup. For good reason. Some people can clearly see a serial miscreant and some people have goggles on.

Sorry all this took you by surprise today.

I thought him staying on that Pats was too good to be true, but I thought it would be team related why he was released.

Maybe they told him to lay low when he signed but he didn’t.

- No "try" needed. You're doing all the work, Skippy.

Brittany Taylor may not win in terms of monetary gains, but she sure won in damaging AB’s career and cost him a lot of money.

You're BEGINNING to almost get it!

He was not cut by the Pats because of Brittany Taylor.

Pay attention.

My last comment before I stop thinking about it.....

God what a tease..his skills were perfect for Brady.

So many jokes. I'll take the high road though.

Hey at least this is great for Gordon. Seeing the train wreck that is AB, may really make Gordon realize he needs to take advantage of his opportunity.

Then important question is, if the Patriots win it all, does AB get a ring?

Thanks for the explain RainMaker. I read very very little of the sports media as was seen on the previous posts of mine :).

So she hasn't filed criminal charges (for what she would I don't exactly know) and she hasn't filed a civil suit, and (correct me if I'm wrong :)) the texts did not directly state a threat, her motivation was just about publicizing his boorish behavior (for a lack of a better phrase) and not a precursor to a lawsuit?
The whole thing is pretty surreal. But it still comes back to, in part, AB must know he's under a microscope and must be very careful about what he puts in ink, pencil, keyboard, or on video. The media sharks were circling before but now it's a feeding frenzy.

It’s not to hard to see why he was released. Guaranteed the Pats told Brown to lay low, no more drama, no contact with any of these people who have talked about him, etc.. and then he goes and texts the lady from the SI story. The guys an idiot, plain and simple. We all know BB runs a tight ship and won’t hesitate to get rid of someone. Seeing that Brown text this lady showed BB he couldn’t trust him and that Brown would continue to be a disturbance.

I was all for innocence until proven guilty in the rape case, but he had to know with the spotlight shining on him he couldn’t do anything stupid, which is a line he jumped right over. Smart move moving on from him and the daily Antonio Brown soap opera.

The Patriots won the Super Bowl with Edelman, Dorsett and Gronkowski on one leg.

Sky's not falling.

Also, you can say that about any team and injuries. It's a ridiculous chicken little argument.

The team was an offsides call away from almost certain defeat. So the notion that losing the player who was the addition to offset the Gronk loss might be a very bad thing should not be farfetched to anyone.
