I couldn’t agree with you more...

Lou “lousy baseball player” Merloni
Scrawny Jim Murray
Adam Jones
Tom Giles

Merloni doesn't really fit in with the others. He didn't like the signing. Once it was done, though, he came down on the side of keeping AB, as he found nothing proven to the point where ditching the guy made sense to him.

Now we can go back to being fully holier than thou about the Chiefs and Tyreek Hill.

The main issue I have with your post is that Murray is far from being scrawny. Also, he’s the only decent one on those **** sports talk stations.

Our defense is even better this year than last year. we are on a historic pace right now to not allow a touchdown in 3 straight games (if all goes well against the jets).

Indeed they are, no denying how incredible they are playing. However, as of this moment we're left with Gordon (no telling when/if he will relapse), Dorsett (unproven he can be counted on in the biggest moments) and Edelman left. At least with Brown we had some insurance, you know.

I think they’re our main competition right now. I have to see the ravens a lot more like maybe going out there and beating the chiefs on Sunday. Their offense is better than ours i would say right now but not the defense.

maybe if not half in the bag I will watch scarface. Though I would love something mysterious like. Something..

I'm reading Bram Stoker's Dracula and it is so cool but I don't feel like reading tonight

The countdown is on for the return of N’Keal Harry. In the meantime, Dorsett isn’t a bad option to have for WR3, and maybe we’ll see more of the rookies now.

I'm a little surprised that the reaction to these newest texts on the Board seems to be: "there must have been something more". As you say, the texts were not only clearly threatening her, they were very clearly threatening her kids (he PUT THE KIDS PICTURES IN THEM). How much more reprehensible can you be?

Let me put it this way for the Board. Suppose you got a text threatening you. What would be your reaction? Well, I would probably not be very happy and I might explore legal options.

Now: Suppose that the text is making a very serious THREAT TO YOUR KIDS and the sender has the financial means and dark history to be taken seriously. I won't say what I would or wouldn't do (and, I think it is hard to know until you have personally walked in those shoes), but suffice it to say my reaction would be 100x that of being personally threatened. I imagine the reaction for many would range from moving heaven and earth to see that person behind bars to more extreme (and regrettable for all) actions.

Surely the target (the second accuser) will press criminal charges, wouldn't any of you? In my mind these latest texts alone were enough for BB to drop him, especially if he knew criminal charges were coming.

Most people have no idea, and I hope they never find out. I haven't had time to keep up with it all, so I'm not going to weigh in.

Something to keep in mind; if these are false acquisitions, for whatever motive, the same inner turmoil applies. Unfortunately, there is no easier crime to commit than that of simply being accused (god forbid it is violence against a woman, youre cooked). People make snap assumptions and thats it. You quickly discover who in your life cares about you, because everyone else cuts ties. You begin to question yourself about everything You eat the legal fees, missed work, sullied name and get told you should be thankful you're walking free. When there is damning concrete evidence of intent/dishonesty on the part of the accuser, the DA rarely, if ever, seeks charges against them.

I'd have a lot less of a problem with action over accusations if there were some serious consequenses for accusers, when it is clear and obvious that they have lied for xyz motive. It doesn't happen nearly enough.

We all love to yell and scream that everyone is "innocent until proven guilty," but it simply isn't true.

From a quick skim on this page, it sounds like AB texted someone vague threats (i haven't read or seen them yet) to try to keep her quiet? If so, its out of line(although understandable if its really another false allegation). Frankly, he needs to listen to his legal expert(s), because I'd imagine theyre giddy about their bank accounts right now.

Watched Mary Shelley 2 days ago ... was interesting.

Predictable column by Breer. Wondering — does anyone have a link to the similar column he wrote when the Raiders cut Brown?

People really underrate how ready rookies are nowadays in the NFL. They can absolutely play when call upon. I think they will do a good job for us and be productive when we need them.

So now we have to live through that crappy offense we saw in week 1 against the Steelers?? Pats probably won't even make the playoffs now.

I'm hoping the roster spot and $$ are now used for a tackle.
I sincerely hope this is poorly executed sarcasm.

Think how much worse this would be if we had traded a first for him.
