I'm not going to continue a back and forth about this. It's a waste of energy. They let him practice. Even in purely mercenary terms, that means that they risked being on the hook in case of an injury. I'm sure someone can think of some exception to the common sense rule, and it's theoretically possible that an exception happened here, but the common sense rule is that you don't do that if you know you're cutting the guy.

So, anything that lines up as "'Found/decided' a/k/a developed after practice" fits the puzzle. Anything from before that? Not so much.

You've never admitted you were wrong on this board. I knew you weren't going to admit it today. Belichick hedged when asked and he flitted his eyes looking for something to say, because he knew he was being cut, and the best he could come up with was, "He's STILL on the roster."

Just admit you were wrong about this one.

It was clear as day what was about to happen.

I don't know what's right or wrong...but if it's decided in 2020...fine with me.

Media patting themselves on the back I see.

Breathlessly waiting the Klemko research on a troubled player from another team. Probably be holding for a long time.

Essentially celebrating a player’s release from a team as a journalist is ****ing disgusting, honestly. I agree with the release, but Peter King can go **** himself.

Generally like Rosenhaus but he can f*ck right off in this situation.

To ignore everything that has transpired so far? Get your client to crawl before he runs, FFS.

Given that Brown contacted his accuser as he was explicitly told not to do, I hope the league suspends him and puts this mess on hold for awhile.
Do we know for sure whether he was told not to contact her BEFORE he did?
That would be epically stupid, arrogant , apathetic and self destructive.

If you don't think there was a media agenda, explain to me why that douchebag Peter King is congratulating Klemko minutes after the Pats cut Brown.

Respect, sure. This doom and gloom fear, I don't understand. No, it won't be a blowout.

In the recent meetings, the Chiefs have destroyed the Patriots for halves at a time. Putting up 24 points and 31 points in halves is a "fear" inspiring feat. We, as Patriots fans, have seen its impact on other teams often enough.

Right?!

I don't think he ends up there (or with any NFL team), but let's say he does.

Who cares? I trust our coaches and players will find a way to win a 60 minute game.

That said, I would like to see us go after Williams or Ramsey, if the right deal can be struck, assuming that some money will be recouped from the Brown situation fairly soon.

Williams yes, but we don't need Ramsey.

AB gone allows for KC to enter the picture. Pats Org lookin stupid and cowardly at same time. That Sterling glint is less shiny now. Rudderless operation. And after TB pours his heart and wisdom out to AB. He'll work it out in one of his new gyms with a Super Model. 6 more practice games coming up before the Ravens at Baltimore employ the gurney's.

Get out of here, troll

NFL can rest easy now.

Rest easy? You're forgetting we still have Gordon, who at any moment, can relapse. He's got a history of this sorta thing. Brown was at least a good insurance policy if Edelman got injured and we only had Dorsett and Brown to rely on. Especially with Gronkowski retired.

I hope Meredith can be a player for us if he’s healthy. Idk if we gonna see Harry again this year Right now we have 3 wideouts with a rookie.

33-3. Game one.

Say what you will, but the offense is still strong. Undoubtedly Gordon with AB was insane, but Gordon, Edelman with Dorsett and Myers I can get behind, especially considering Dorsett has looked fantastic. I'm looking forward to the Gordon mental health rejuvenation and potential.

This team can and should still win the super bowl. The bright side people, we can enjoy the season now instead of the media headache.

On that note, I am heading out of work for the weekend. Fun getting into it with all of you.

Does anybody else think AB planned this all along? It’s a total joke if the Steelers aren’t investigated.

;)

Yeah....because Brown DIDN'T have a history of being erratic or anything.....

The level of suspension of belief by some of the posters on this board the past 11 days has been fascinating to witness.
