They've got a guy who's basically an uncoverable WR, and a QB who can get him the ball. And that's on top of other quality receivers. It's smart to have a healthy fear/respect for that.

Given that Brown contacted his accuser when he was explicitly told not to, I hope the league suspends him and puts this mess on hold for awhile.

With AB's release (something that seemed as inevitable as a train wreck), the release of Demaryius Thomas seems even more premature than it was before. We will see him this weekend to gauge what having him on our roster might have been like.

The difference is, AB was already on his last chance for other off the field issues. He HAD to keep his mouth closed and let the legal process do his thing. If an ordinary person lashed out that would be understandable to an extent. Stupid, but comprehensible. But he COULD NOT speak out in the way he did, it was part of the conditions in his contract. he did it anyway.

I mean I'm not necessarily saying it was the wrong thing to do, But in AB's situation, it was an absolutely stupid thing to do.
