Zero proof he even sent those texts

Can we be real for a second? If those texts did not come from his phone, it would be incredibly easy for him to prove and he could outright have discredited this woman as total liar. It would have created the perception that this woman was out to get him and she would have no credibility who she reached out to in regards to this.

There's no way he didn't send those texts because if he didn't he would have been able to get the easiest win of his life

Free legal tip-
If you're being accused of sexual assault, immediately cease and desist any and all communication with the accuser.

Sending a text that could be construed as a threat is 5 steps beyond stupid.

You reap what you sow.

Anyone understand the parameters around recouping the $9 million? Could use it on another offensive weapon (OT, TE) before the trade deadline.

That decision had been made by the press conference. Clear as day. As I said to Andy when he questioned my post about Belichick, "They are going to cut him today, Andy." I said this as soon as I watched the presser around noon. Clear as day.

I'm not going to continue a back and forth about this. It's a waste of energy. They let him practice. Even in purely mercenary terms, that means that they risked being on the hook in case of an injury. I'm sure someone can think of some exception to the common sense rule, and it's theoretically possible that an exception happened here, but the common sense rule is that you don't do that if you know you're cutting the guy.

So, anything that lines up as "'Found/decided' a/k/a developed after practice" fits the puzzle. Anything from before that? Not so much.

I think Brown’s behavior is just too erratic. You can’t handle the current problems when he’s busy creating new ones.
Seems this is the best post to make a good summary

Media wins again. Pressured the Pats into releasing Brown and they did.

I’m bummed he’s gone.

I think Belichick said something like "we're looking into some things" and I think that's exactly where things stood at the time of the press conference. It definitely raised an eyebrow for me as being a good step or two more than what he said last week.

As far as Brown practicing today — I just think the decision hadn't been made so they proceeded as normal until they had their info. Certainly him NOT being at practice would have led to all sorts of speculation; losing control of the message like that would not be the Patriots way of doing things.

Better not end up on the chiefs

They had him practice. I'm not sure how many more times I have to post that, before people begin to grasp its significance.

I think the letter to the league office being made public must've been the breaking point, but I can only assume that because the letter was released and a short time later so was AB. Can't imagine BB and RK liked the idea of Brown insulting a struggling mother of three to his entourage.

Well you are in line with the local media pitchfork holders. If the media wasn’t biased the Hill story never would have died down. If the Chiefs weren’t a threat to the Pats it wouldn’t have died down no matter what Hill said or didn’t say. There was no plausible deniability, it was clear as day audio about true child endangerment.
Let's take everything you said to be true and say the media was biased.

Hill gave them every chance to let the story die down by being invisible all off season. Brown had something new come up every day for 11 days and a lot of it was self inflicted on his end and he made it impossible to not draw attention.

So even with bias, one guy helped himself and one guy didn't

You don’t think some of these charges are bogus including the alleged rape? You need to get a clue. The guy can be a massive ******* but everyone has a right to prove their innocence.

This poster joined last week and has posted a million times in threads related to Brown, defending him to the death with bad grammar and syntactical usage.

NYCPATS4LIFE, are you Antonio Brown? Making a thousand posts on a dumb Patriots forum would be in character, I think.

these are 2 seperate issues. They recoup the money but might not make a difference on the cap room
