I don’t like AB the person but i hope he beats out these charges. I’m rooting for him when it comes to that.

This offense is gonna look very different now. While not as explosive it will have to depend some in the running game .

It’s more dangerous / explosive. I will take our O over theirs until we see them methodically use four minutes of clock to grind out the win in a close game.

Their offense was better last year. Their offense is better this year, particularly with Gronk still gone as well as AB being cut. I'm not sure what leg you have here, because quickness of scoring really isn't one.

Better than 'we' did last year.
we aren't going to win a shootout with the best offense in the league. Our defense is what will seperate us from them.

You think a rookie who hasn't been practicing will come in and make an impact?

Okay lol

He'll be back in November and he'll get 6 games under his belt before the playoffs start. It's not ideal, but he won't come in like Brown did without training camp. Malcolm Mitchell had a pretty big impact in 2016 as a rookie.

Just for the information:

WEEI...

Ordway, Merloni, Lombardi

all believe that something more than we know must be in play here.
Seems like it has to be for the abrupt change. My guess is it’s as simple as brown acting indignant and uncooperative when they met with him about the nfl telling him to not contact the accusers.

Better make sure that game is at home this time around . Idk if we can win in KC back to back.

I don't think anyone ever denied this though. This was well known before we got him.
Before you could say

1. He's being a diva about the helmet **** but it's personal and he eventually got over it.
2. Okay Oakland fined him and he wanted out. He was **** about how he handled it, but whatever.
3. The rape accusation is unsubstantiated and there is no current evidence.
4. This second accuser might just be piling on and there's nothing there.

Now it's "he ignored the advice of his team, the league, and lawyer and made group text with him and his buddies berating the accuser for coming forward and brought her kids into it".

You can rationalize away the other **** under "he's just being a bit of diva" or plausible deniability. You can't with this. It was outright stupid, it was 100% initiated by him, it was self inflicted, it have more fuel to the story, and he opened himself to more legal trouble.

The smart move was to not say anything, practice hard and well, listen to his lawyer when it came to the investigation and keep the legal drama to a court room in a controlled setting. He made it a free for all against everyone who wanted to help him's advice. He brought this on himself.

I mean that he practiced. He wasn't cut until after practice. BB's presser stated that the team was looking into some things. You likely don't risk the guy getting injured if you're definitely cutting him.

So, by looking at the pieces, the idea that something developed, post-practice seems the best fit.

BB's answer to questions about whether Antonio Brown would play were a definite tell that he was going to be cut. BB doesn't answer questions the way he did today. It was pretty evident, and I said so.

All he had to do was keep his yap shut - can't do it. he's a Narcissist of the highest order.

My guess is the Pats were just waiting for the league to give them cover on the $9m still owed - I can't see Kraft writing those checks. Forfeiture language in his contract, maybe?

Here's to hoping you are correct and I'm wrong!

My teachers once told me I'm wrong a lot ;)

Thoughts and prayers AB.
I’ll be rooting for you all the way, even on the prison team.
