Sorry but I’m 100% against the team on this move.

They just gave the accusers exactly what they wanted— pilloried by the court of the public. Ruin a man’s livelihood with words. Thanks.

This is despicable and I’m not happy with this move.

Chiefs are going to pick him up

Exept that the texts if I'm reading the scenario right were a criminal act.

I'm not going to get into the specifics of the law on harrassment via text.

The guy had a golden opportunity turn it around off the field with the right kind of org. Utter galactic stupid to reach out directly to an opposing legal party. I have to assume his lawyers had told him not to but he did anyway. I don't see this great intimidation of words but direct contact with the opposing party can be outright interpreted this way.
Too bad for the Patriots as this was potentially the sledgehammer of an O attack.

I deep down suspect his actions aren't as outright monster-like as some may think. But his actions are at minimum reckless, impulsive and lacking good thought. Dude needs a serious mental reset on how he makes decisions.

Everything was going to be fine until he was a dumbass and egged on the accuser. I bet BB was getting tired of being peppered with antonio brown questions.

What we have just witnessed is the masses have spoken and the Pats have capitulated. Unless there is something major to come out, this has set a nasty precedent. The media as a whole have driven a player from NE, yet whimpered about Tyreek Hill and let it go due to the threat the Chiefs pose to the Pats.

The media, and yes also the Boston loser media have accomplished what other NFL teams couldn’t. Knocked the Pats down a notch. I’d add in the plethora of Pats fans who agreed with them. Tweets? Tweets are the problem now?

Yet audio was “taken out of context”. Congrats to all who added to the flames here and elsewhere. God forbid the same happens to you.

NFL can rest easy now.

Well unfortunately for Brown that matters to all this. And that on top of the rape allegations that could still wind up being true, and the fact that we just plain don't need him, and it's time to cut the cord.

Hope he doesn’t go to KC. I really wanted this to work out but, this is the right move. If he can’t shut his mouth and listen, we can’t trust him to stay in line ever. He could have a melt down during the Super Bowl.
I'm praying he goes to Kansas City.

Let's see how people's opinions change now that he has been released...
Exactly. At least we won't have to deal with people defending every dumbass thing this dude does.

So, if we win it all, does he get a ring?

What are the cap implications? Do they get any money back?

It's for the best. He's a great talent but he was becoming a massive media distraction like we've never really seen from a player who came here. He already was on thin ice when we signed up, the rape allegation is a big deal no matter what, the other allegation just adds credibility to misbehavior accusations, and that stupid text thing last night just showed he lacked self control in his personal life to dial down a story and keep his head down.

The texts were the nail in the coffin. Even if he turns out to be 100% innocent, you just can't behave that way. It was way too public and makes a bad situation worse and it was self inflicted.
