I'll never understand how people can villainize Kaepernick so much for taking a knee for what he perceives as an injustice. It really boggles my mind.

Agree. Why arent posters on here calling for his head?

Non violent crime, that is usually where I draw the line. I don’t care what half of these athletes do in their off time, so long as it doesn’t negatively impact the Patriots chances of winning

Chung is nowhere near the superstar that Brown is either, so the media are going to go after the filet mignon over a shank steak

Pay AB his 5 million.

2 mil goes to the rape accuser.
1 mil goes to the sexual harassment.
1 mil goes to all the contractors and caterers that AB stiffed.
1.5 mil goes to the attorneys.

AB gets - $500,00

Funny how that second accuser of ben went straight to the police and filed a report. Not a civil one but a criminal report.

In the first the nfl did nothing. The nfl needs to stay consistent.

Like Shoeless Joe from Hannible Mo., I think the Patriots have made a pact with the Devil, signing Brown to win another Superbowl. On Monday, they will have to make a decision
whether to honor that pact. Do they pay Brown his $5M bonus? The question is how much money will Brown be owed if he is put on the exempt list? He keeps doing stupid things to
test the will of Goodell.

100%, we're trying to win football games

Do you really think that Bill Belichick was unprepared for the question of whether or not a player was going to play?

Come on, now.

He didn't say he was going to play.

Funny how that first accuser of ben went straight to the police and filed a report. Not a civil one but a criminal report.

Cause it really happened.

Go look at his week 2 press conference. They ask him, "is Antonio Brown going to play this weekend?" and he says, "we'll do what's best for our football team". Another reporter later asks him, "is Antonio Brown playing Sunday what's best for the football team?" and he says something like, "how would I know, he just got here."

Trying to read the tea leaves on what Belichick says in a press conference is silly.

Yes, this is what I would have expected him to say to that exact question. But he didn't.

But really, just tell us what your tarot cards say. I’m sure you can figure out a way for them to support, he’ll even prove, your opinion.
On to what browns body language looked like walking on to the practice field.....

He's getting cut, Andy.

If Chung hasn’t been cut for his cocaine allegations, Brown is not getting cut.
If convicted, Patrick Chung is looking at a period of probation for possessing drugs. This happens quite frequently. Why would there be any talk about cutting him?

In other words, is this a straight up apples to apples comparison? It doesn’t seem like it.

In the meantime, Belichick will do what’s best for the team and I’m happy for that. Let’s hope Goodell can keep his nose out of the situation, as that’s a much bigger concern for me than whether or not Brown is a good person.

Haven't read the encyclopedia number of pages on AB, so I don't know if this being discussed anywhere, but AB has actually made it easier for the team to focus.

Less talk of 19-0
Josh Gordon is left alone.
Don't need to answer questions about the offensive line.
No questions "where is Calhoun" or what about Develin's neck?

It's all AB all the time and this even offers BB the luxury of having a legitimate excuse for short press conferences.

The media foolishly will only ask AB questions. They won't even throw in a football question in the last press conference to break things up.

Beyond AB questions, everyone is left alone.

Josh Gordon has been asleep at the wheel.

When does he plan to bust out?

This thread is unbelievable, like a highly contagious virus with no chance for a cure. 365 pages and no end in sight.

Cause it really happened.

The second one happened. The first one there was skepticism but Big Ben has a history that people
might think it’s true after the second encounter with a woman but no evidence in the first. Brown knew his accuser. They had a relationship something she claims they did not have. I always find it skeptical when women don’t file a police report but to each his own.

That’s my thought something this accuser didn’t do. All this time never filed a criminal report. Went straight to civil.
Because if she went criminal, and they realized her case was a joke, and she was lying, she would go to prison.

Also, riddle me this. If AB is such a loathsome, lowlife, as many here proclaim, then why was Britney Taylor hanging around with him, intimately etc. Truly, someone with Taylor's strong ethics would want nothing to do with AB.
And if she has no ethics - which she apparently does not, then why should she be believable at all? Especially given the outright lies in her story.

Josh Gordon has been asleep at the wheel.

When does he plan to bust out?
Tell the QB. Gordon can’t throw to himself like Brady can on Instagram.

When does he plan to bust out?

This is what I mean.

Let Gordon focus on feeling comfortable. He missed a lot of training camp.
