First of all he didn’t post pictures of her kids. Robert Klemko did.

He texted pictures of her kids which is entirely different then publicly posting them.

He made no threat whatsoever.
He asked an “associate” to look into the financial situation of someone who he seems to feel is lying about him to get money from him.

Basically this. I want Brown playing for the Patriots but he's done nothing to help himself. Unlike some posters, I don't think he's worth defending in any way, but for the sake of my entertainment I hope he stops his ****. I'm capable, unlike some here, of living with the cognitive dissonance of rooting for a bad guy. I respect the people who don't want to root for him at all.

Contacting her is perfectly fine. Her not wanting contact is perfectly fine but she has to say that and if he continues ask a court to tell him to stop.

Because his co-employer (the NFL) has a personal conduct code forbidding the kind of behavior he has shown -- and his main emplyer (the Pats) could very well remove him from the team (as is their right)

This is a legitimate story, based on that alone. Nevermind the fact that it's offensive and is in poor taste.

Yep. Same thing happened in our town. Psycho ex husband was sending all kinds of messages to the ex once he found out she was dating. He never threatened her but for the fear of a potential DV situation the police spoke to the ex and he stopped. The hope is he will continue to leave her alone.

No one is defending brown. It’s a matter of discussing the sensationalism that is out of control.

I did not want him from day one because he is bad news purely based on Steelers and Raiders antics last year. Now with this crap, it's a no brainer.

The pats have to put a gag order on brown. This sports illustrated writer has an agenda against brown. He was stupid to write her text messages but there’s nothing threatening about those text messages. This Klemko guy is towing the line.

My preferences:
1. Pats dump Brown, win Super Bowl
2. Pats keep Brown, win Super Bowl but he cleans up his act and doesn't play a major role in it

After that, I'm not sure how I feel. I really don't want any significant Patriots' success attributed to this guy's contribution.

The problem, of course, is that anything less than a Super Bowl victory is

So if they win, and he's a star player but also continues to act without Patriot discipline and selflessness and his behavior is a major story line through the season...???

The pictures were of her and her kids, more than likely taken off social media. Who knows if she even had solo pictures of her up there at all for him to take. I think he is a dumbass and will be cut today by the Pats, and if not them, the NFL, but I don't think he threatened the kids. The media is running that narrative on their own. I read the entire chain multiple times, he is being a dumbass in sending her any texts at all, but I do not see him threatening her kids here...that is a stretch to any logical rational person.

He will be gone though, he won't play on Sunday or for a while probably, but this is more of a media hit job attacking a dumb player than it is over his actions. If he was still in Oakland, this would not even be a national story.
