Yes. And the lawyer also interpreted it for what he was because he distanced himself from the texts in the media and made it known he had nothing to do with it. A lawyer would not make such a public statement if he didn’t understand that the texts were intimidating.

A judge would grant a temporary restraining order in a heartbeat. Probably even be willing to make it more permanent since there’s just no reason for him to contact her.

Of course, it raises the question of why she doesn’t just block his number on her phone.

Anyone has a right to file a complaint with the police, but it doesn't mean that the police have to act on it, and I doubt they would in this situation.

It simply isn't worth the time or effort. She's better off complaining to the League. If I were her, I would do the same.

I am concerned that he is still screwing around with this nonsense. He should be completely no-contact with anyone outside of football and focusing on learning the offense. The Patriots cannot be happy that this came out. I've been silent on this and thought the media was being ridiculous. I mean, can we stop talking about him already? Instead, he just keeps injecting himself into the conversation with stupid shiznit.

I'd be pretty happy if they cut him today.

It’s the modern society. Some teams’ own fans and media (especially NE fans)eat their own like none else. It is shocking to see. If he did a real crime he needs to be gone. If not..well he is still here and should be.

We disagree on approach.

If my wife or daughters were receiving harassing text messages i'd go to law enforcement.....or deal with the matter personally.

Or the police. No one in any of this is going to the police. They all have lawyers. Why aren't they going to the police. If Brown is such a menace, and not just a diva douchebag ******* dumbass - why wouldn't they take the steps to make sure he can't hurt them or anyone else?

He's accused of crimes that would be felonies. I don't think a detective has even spoken with him.

The way the media is making it sound, you are 100% correct...HOWEVER, I think it is fair to point out that it isn't just pictures of her kids. The pictures are HER and her kids. If they were JUST the kids, that would be super bad for him, and that is how the media is portraying it. I think the Pats will cut him by noon and if they do not, I suspect the NFL will ensure he does not play for a while at some point in the day...perhaps morning.

The man is just stupid.

The NFL is going to protect her kids that were 'threatened'?

He's not the sharpest tool in the shed here but he's feeling attacked rightfully so and he's protecting himself in his mind because nobody is doing it for him.
He needs a better support system.
He's clearly stressed out and rightfully so.
There is no threat here being made just someone who went about things the wrong way and honestly his attorney should be to blame for not explicitly going over every do and don't with Antonio.

Exactly, I’m a police officer. After 3 documented incidents of harassment at the police station, after the third time you can get a court approved harassment prevention order against the person. They contact you again, they get locked up
