I'm baffled by why Vrabel doesn't just release/trade Mariotta. He couldn't possibly do worse with any other JAG, right? Heck, the Jaguars JAG quarterback right now is doing laps around Mariotta.

With such a conservative system, though, shouldn't Mariotta be at least a 66-68% passer? Maybe it is the rain with Mariotta, but he can't hit a barn door right now.

I didn't watch non-Patriots games last year. I'm watching this game because it's on in a room where I'm doing some work. That's obviously been a mistake on my part, as the Bruins game was a better watch while it was on.

If he can’t put the ball into a window then you can’t beat a defense like this. No velocity. Don’t know why he hasn’t been benched. Then again, Tannehill isn’t known for his accuracy either.

I hear ya. This is his 6th year and he has had only one season where he threw more than 20 TDS. Last year he had 11 TD 8 InTs. The year before he had 13 TDS and 15 INTs. Watching Mariota play QB is like watching a pitcher bat.
