Always love the moral high ground a firm that used to use child labor stands on.

Can't argue with that at all.

That, hopefully, AB will be the better off for it is the least that could be gained from this situation.

Of course. All fair points, although then we’re back to the possibility of Goodell suspending him or placing him on the CE list even though criminal charges were never filed.

I do think that it will help tremendously if FL doesn’t file charges, but it’s not a good look for new stories to be coming out and two separate companies to have severed ties with his endorsement deals, especially the Nike one.

They jumped the gun early and they don’t wanna be associated with the way he behaves. It’s not shocking. It’s alleged. Since the beginning i always felt this is a money grab. He stopped making payments on her gym next thing you know she files a lawsuit claiming she was raped. Frankly they both deserve each other. Brown has acted like an a-hole.

He seems to be learning how to not talk much. That’s a great sign really

Its like the move Regarding Henry with Harrison Ford.

Before he got shot he was an @ss hole.

After he was a good guy.

I was thinking more along the lines of Randall P. MacMurphy.......

.

The legal investigation didn’t bring charges, and yet he was still suspended. You claimed that suspending Brown without charges would be unprecedented. That’s not true.

I expected someone to miss the point, congratulations on being that guy.

It would be unprecedented to suspend a player without an arrest or guilt admission happening first (except for the unusual case of a lot of evidence and police involvement not producing an arrest in Elliot's case. However, even in Elliot's case the legal activity happened before the suspension.)

In other words, the NFL has never preemptively suspended a player. If they do that with Brown - suspend him before this civil case is resolved - it would be without precedent.

Just "a little wrinkly"? At 72, "a LITTLE wrinkly" is right in my wheelhouse. Is she single? ;)

She's been married to Sean Penn's brother for two decades. You missed your shot!

Okay Quick Poll (can’t start another thread on this topic)

Would you rather:

A. Have the league investigate, resulting in an indefinite timeframe and the possibility of either exoneration or guilt.

or

B. Take a 6-8 game suspension right now, assuring Brown is back for the home stretch (may miss some critical games though) but throw away any chance of exoneration.
C. Just have Ray Lewis kill Roger Goodell

Nike has just dropped AB.

I think this could be a blessing in disguise- if that won't jolt him into cleaning up his act, nothing else will.
I just don't put AB in Hardy's class.

I'd be fine for him to IMMEDIATELY just sign with somebody else.

Yeah, damn right it's 'cause he's a Patriot now.

Aimee Mann is in great shape - she boxes - she produced an album about the Jete called "I'm with Stupid" with a follow up "Lost in Space"...

Yea thats closer.

Is Ernie Adams the male version of Nurse Ratchett?

Wow. That's a Bob Ross type flashback.

Traenny Kuznerek on CSN is REALLY hoping AB gets sent for the gulag...

I expected someone to miss the point, congratulations on being that guy.

It’s sad that some people here can’t discuss a controversial situation like civilized adults without resorting to personal insults over the slightest difference in opinions.

You should ‘t reward shakedowns
Ehh. Sometimes you have to make business decisions. How much money are you willing to lose to not “reward shakedowns”?

Tranny? I know she's a little rough on the eye, but I am pretty sure she is a woman.

Her sports commentaries are also generally pretty stupid.

The Pats have had some bad apples in the past but Felony AB is on a whole new level. Randy Moss had more of an attitude problem. Hernandez was gang banging on the down low profile and nobody knew that anything was amiss.

Those who foolishly believe that FAB will change his ways are sadly naive.

Wherever he lands a $hitstorm follows. The Steelers paid the man what he wanted and he stabbed the franchise in the back creating division on the team. The Raiders paid FAB the big money and he dropped in on day 1 in a hot air balloon. That was the highlight of his Oakland career because it was all downhill from there. Feet problems, didnt like his helmet, Cracker Mayock.

Imagine the crazy crap that we dont know about? FAB will be up to mischief in NE you can bet the farm on that.
