I think it was the defense's foot that was up there. Not only did they pitch a shut out, they scored 14 points.

If it gets that far, which it almost definitely won't, I actually have a weird species of faith in Jarrett Stidham. I like nearly everything I've seen, and if the team has to be carried by the defense for a few weeks while he gets up to speed, I have a sneaking suspicion that we have the horses to do it.

Hopefully it doesn't come to that. but we're in a better position to handle it if it does than we were 12 months ago, that's for darn sure.

At this point with this OL I’d almost prefer to see Stidham vs Gregg Williams’ defensive game plan...
