So...she lied in her official court filing about her relationship with AB, with video proof out that
s already against her, but the jury is still supposed to believe her civil suit for rape?

If that's the leg she's standing on, the judge will soon be throwing this out.

Just a reminder, even though the the big headline is she filed the suit. It doesn't really become a a lawsuit until Brown is served which report is he hasn't been yet and because it's federal they can take up to 90 days to serve him.

here is the rule on that

(m) Time Limit for Service. If a defendant is not served within 90 days after the complaint is filed, the court—on motion or on its own after notice to the plaintiff—must dismiss the action without prejudice against that defendant or order that service be made within a specified time. But if the plaintiff shows good cause for the failure, the court must extend the time for service for an appropriate period. This subdivision (m) does not apply to service in a foreign country under Rule 4(f), 4(h)(2), or 4(j)(1), or to service of a notice under Rule 71.1(d)(3)(A).

So her filing this could she could sit on it for 89 days hoping for Brown to settle. My guess would be she doesn't want this to go to court and i'd bet filing in federal court had a lot to do with the whole "defendant can be served within 90 days".

Couldn't Brown still be charged somehow? Especially since she says one incident occured in May 2018. That isn't two years.
Thats because Miami isn't in Allegheny county, we're on page 300, try to keep up. ;)

well that hurts the SI story a little. Doctor was in it complaining about that incident and here he is joking with Brown about it.

Nice that you guy are having a 300 page *********** about legal niceties, but the fact remains that NONE of it matters to whether he plays or doesn't. That is solely in the hands of one Roger Goodell. Like I noted before, Goodell can put him on the expempt list (or not) based on how HE feels about the accuser's claims. He holds that kind of power. And if we know ONE thing about Roger Goodell is that he is the master of inconsistency. So to speculate what he will do is a fool's game akin to betting on football games against the spread. ;).

That being said, if he does take him off the field, he would be setting a very dangerous precedent.....but he's already done it before with people who weren't criminally charged, just like he's ignored people who HAVE been criminally charged. One of the Seahawks starting LB's is awaiting sentencing after being CONVICTED, and of course we have our own coke user who has been indicted by a DA who clearly had nothing better to do that day.

That's why the NFL should get out of the personal responsibility business in the next CBA and leave it up to the teams to do the dirty work. It would be a lot easier at Park Ave if they did.

They are trying to make Antonio Brown R Kelly.
I'm waiting to see the doc series surviving Antonio Brown

It’s BAD.

Aren't all rapes by their nature violent and forceful? Seems like a redundant adverb yet I've seen it used over and over. English is not my 1st language, so I'm not sure.
If you're trying to make the point that all rape is violent or all rape is forcible, then I have no response.

If you are genuinely interested in the law then the answer is yes, there are types of rapes that are not considered forcible rape. Statutory rape is not considered forcible rape (assuming it was otherwise consensual). Date rape and/or raping an intoxicated victim also does not necessarily fall under the context of "forcible rape" from a legal standpoint.

she stated brother-sister type relationship...not sure where strictly professional is coming from.
Wait, I thought this happened in Pittsburgh and Miami not in Kansas.

The only things that can definately be proved are the dead piranhas and the farting incident.

I'm going out on a limb that based on those 2 charges, Fraudster will either suspend or place AB on the exempt list.

AB is lucky he is here at an organization that is experienced in dealing with massive media fallouts.
We have withstood spygate, deflate gate, murder gate, human traffic gate, prostitution gate, running up the score gate, humbled during a time where we should have ruled the world forever.
At this point, we can be considered professionals in handling attentions and attacks from outside, be it true or false. We are like diamond, hardened rock.

I'm going out on a limb and say the league neither suspends or exempts AB based on everything we know so far (but things can change any minute based on the latest tweet by lying Rapaport).

Joking about it 1 year ago; timestamps are from 2018.

Doc is now suing Brown for unpaid bills. Seems things have changed a bit in 12 months.

Brown is sitting on million of dollars. Just pay your freakin' bills, dude, seriously. It's the simplest, easiest thing he can do right now to calm this storm and gain decency back in the eyes of many people.

Sexual assault stuff notwithstanding, which is a whole 'nother beast to resolve, just pay your bills. JFC.

Was just getting concerned this thread was getting too low on the list. You're welcome.

You know who is happiest about all of this? Patrick Chung lol. No one cares about his cocaine charge anymore

But will that move not be injurious to Ms. Taylor? It will weaken her civil case as well. I can't for the life of me understand why her lawyer did this. Was it a bluff that went too far?
