The OL situation is the real headache

Luke Falk will be the NYJ starting QB. Not sure if any have seen him in college, he had a few fans here in the draft forum. I'd be shocked if we don't dominate that side of the ball. I can't imagine the size of Bill/Mayo's grin, probably a koolaid smile.

Big question mark on O is the offensive line? We do have the weapons to score from anywhere, I'm sure we'll see some shots get fired but I wouldn't be surprised to see us try to stretch that F7 out either in the running game. Last week we used a few runs I'd expect more of (crack-toss/toss, split zone, oz).

I could see a blowout w a little luck (injuries, new pieces..) but maybe more a 24/28-10 game that never feels that close.

Patriots participation/injury report

Did not participate: FB James Develin (neck), DL Shilique Calhoun (not injury related)

Limited: OL Caleb Benenoch (calf), QB Tom Brady (calf), OT Marcus Cannon (shoulder), TE Matt LaCosse (ankle)

Full: RB Brandon Bolden (hamstring)

It's never too early to panic

Hasn't Brady been on the injury report for years? Regardless, start the rookie against the Jets. Gives Brady time to recover.

This is a divisional game, it's always important to win regardless of the talent disparity. Brady gives us a significantly better chance of winning than Stidham, regardless of opponent.

Brady should never sit out a game unless playoff seeding is already settled, or he physically cannot play better than the alternative QB.

If the game gets out of hand pull Brady and put Stidham in, no need to further the calf issue if we are well ahead on the score board.

That Develin neck deal ain’t great. Necks are important IME and he has a huge one.

The game in Miami never got out of hand.

Brady was on the injury report against JAX in 17.

If the Pats are 15-0 with home field locked up, should Brady sit it out?

Edit: I see what you're asking here, I was a bit slow on the come-up.

I'd say you play him in that instance. 16-0 is special.

So brady limited with a calf injury? I don’t like hearing that.

This is a wild stat (he’ll probably fumble next game now)

Best third down/utility back we’ve ever had.
